Shoot, the college football season kicks off already in full force, full schedule-wise, I mean, this weekend.

We've got a lot of action on deck, and I have my thoughts on how college football has changed.

Some of them you've heard before from other people, but I'm going to give my perspective on why I think It's detrimental to the sport, all the things that have happened.

From the perspective of a fan who cheers for and went to a school that's not considered one of the powerhouses in the country, right? Northwestern University by no means has been a powerhouse in football.

They've gotten better over the last 15, 20 years, thanks to Pat Fitzgerald and what he did for the program to turn it around.

The perspective of fans and alums from those schools kind of add to the whole story of how college football has changed, and I'm going to give you my two cents on that.

The only bad thing I would say is how my baseball team played while they were here in Houston.

And I'm sitting there on Wednesday night, I went to the game with my son, took my dad as well.

Thank you for the Astros for hosting us and saw a couple of friends there as well.
