the problem with Pat Fitzgerald?

So I had a, this is an immediate digression, but in college, I went to Syracuse.

They would have blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

But like it's not wrong or an excuse even at this point to say you can't judge.

Like you can judge Pat Fitzgerald and his staff for a lot of things, decisions they've made this year.

I don't think you can really judge them for the wins and losses after like week six.

While the Michigan State game is lower, I think that one too.

It's more so the whole rivalry, the whole Pat Fitzgerald effect.

I think that made it a little bit different.

Oh boy, we haven't even talked about that.

You need to be able to expect that maybe they'll run wing T unexpectedly.

because michigan state expected that and they did a great job stopping the wig t but then later in that game they just couldn't stop the passing it's you need to be able to to kind of go into every game thinking that oh this team may run something that we haven't seen in 30 years so let's just be prepared for anything possible which means being prepared for nothing at all

that sounds like going up against ship killing uh all right let's switch over and talk about the defense So you said earlier that David Braun, who was originally brought in by Pat Fitzgerald to be the defensive coordinator and then in a twist of fate, you know, a couple of weeks later was was running the whole team, that David Braun has basically turned the keys of the offensive operation over to Chip Kelly.

And David Braun seems to be, along with Tim Garrickle, the defensive coordinator and like the one guy who survived the purge, have really been focusing on the defense.

It was great.

So you had two nemesis, right? Like Pat Fitzgerald, he's now 2-6 on the season, so I think you're...

You know, you're feeling pretty good about that.

Your Chip Kelly one, not as good.

He laid down a marker, and I think that's important.
