We finally got a taste of wet weather running at the Bahrain GP in Malaysia, and let's just say, none of us were prepared for what we saw on Sunday! Andy and Cody are back on the mics and they break…
We'll start with our headlines of the day.
Cody, I will let you go first.
What you got?
All right, my headline of the day is that that was a crazy race and not just because Max Verstappen won.
That race had everything going even before the race actually started.
He had a big, long rain delay.
Like I said, I flipped on the TV to see... pretty much like typhoon rain coming down and was like, oh my God, like this is not starting anytime soon and did not.
And then, you know, for all you poor folks who watched this live, you sat there and you waited for an hour and then you thought, okay, we're actually going to get this going.
And then the rain, sorry, the race got delayed again for way more stupid reasons than rain.
had to wait another half hour, and then you finally got actually a very exciting race, in my opinion.
A lot of good stuff happened on track.
You didn't really know exactly what was going to happen.
A lot of good moves, a lot of hard racing.
I, for one, thought it was very good.
Hopefully that means maybe I can find this plan on the calendar sometime soon.
Because clearly this track worked quite well for these regulations.
the track works definitely well, I think in just about any regulations.
I mean, every time I think we've come here, we've had very, very entertaining racing.
Um, and yeah, I did read something that said that I think the prime minister was there and I think he was in some talks with the minute colleague to try to get, uh, Sepang back at least in, if not a permanent spot on the calendar into a rotation on the calendar.
That's some of the, the late reporting that I've read on that.
Um, so yeah, if you enjoyed the circuit and you enjoyed a lot of what it had to offer, I think, uh, you'll be in the camp of, uh, hopefully seeing it again soon because for one, the, the place sold out.
Uh, so that was really good.
And so they, they kind of, it was like proof of concept here.
You know, formula one hadn't been there in a while.
