S

What's going on? Some bad juju in FP1? Like Isaac Hajar in his hand and then Leclerc in his eye? Yeah,
S
9:01speaker_1HOST
but I mean, Leclerc and his eye happened on the track.
S
9:04speaker_1HOST
Isaac did it, I don't know, partying or practicing, one of the two.

T
51:58Thom BrouwerGUEST

T

And Isack Hadjar has got as many podiums as Max Verstappen since he got injured, so.
M

Yeah.

Episode 52 - Italian GP Debrief
M
43:29MaritHOST
Yeah, it was a good performance.
M
43:31MahamHOST
And obviously on the other side of the Red Bull garage, it was New Zealand's Liam Lawson, who was back for his second outing representing the senior team as Isaac Hajar remained sidelined after his wrist injury, which was sustained during the summer break.
M
43:43MahamHOST
Having qualified in 14th, he was unable to score points like he did last time out.
M
43:46MahamHOST
But what did you make of his second performance this time out in the Red Bull?
Kimi Antonelli’s at genius level! - why his F1 win shouldn't have been possible
M
7:48Mark HughesHOST
So I think it's a far better option than staying where he was.
B
7:53Bryn LucasHOST
But does he not need to not just do an okay job or do a good job? He needs to do an incredible job for them to really turn their attention away from Max Verstappen and Hadjar, their current driver lineup, and really go, okay, when Max decides to disappear off, whatever that happens to be, he's our guy.
M
8:11Mark HughesHOST
Yeah, he needs to do...
M

I mean, they have all the data, so they know what they're comparing like for like.
26 MINS LATER
M
34:05Mark HughesHOST
yeah I mean he's he's a very hard racer and you're not going to get any favours from you know when you wheel to wheel with him and that's yeah it's probably quite alarming when you're on the other end of it you have to take to the grass but yeah I don't think he did anything that he wouldn't do when racing a Ferrari or a Mercedes or something like that.
M
34:32Mark HughesHOST
It's just that it raises eyebrows when you do it to your own teammates.
B
34:35Bryn LucasHOST
the baby plays into that paranoia a little bit as well there of Lando couldn't get past him was getting frustrated who knows with all these teams battling out and it seems to be the top teams fighting is there one team that's handling their drivers better because there are clashes in all the main teams there seems to be and the three of the main teams I suppose because there's no real clash between Max Verstappen and Hadjar but is there one of the teams that's handling it better than the others
M
35:03Mark HughesHOST
Well, I don't think Mercedes has got any particular issues in how it's handling its drivers.

C

But well done to him.
C
42:04CaesarHOST
He still got Isaac Hajar on the sidelines, and so Liam Lawson was in the Red Bull seat.
C
42:11CaesarHOST
But the interesting to note...
C
42:16CaesarHOST
There's been a bit of a coup in Red Bull.
News and Previewing the Spanish Grand Prix
M
34:59Megan SchusterHOST
Uh, I guess both the FIA and Ferrari are reportedly monitoring him to make sure he's well enough to race this weekend, but Leclerc, for his part, says that he's fine and ready to go, but just something to watch.
M
35:08Megan SchusterHOST
Um, speaking of people potentially missing the Spanish Grand Prix, Isack Hadjar will be missing this race.
S

Mm-hmm.
M

Um, his third straight race.

But no, he's out again, which you probably touched on.
