Uh, today, for what it's worth, George Russell did probably the most impressive one on, on mediums.

Verstappen was reasonably quick, but that was on softs.

But these are really messy limited data, so I really wouldn't worry about that a great deal.

It's more about dialing into the track, getting your setups right, and even just things like getting your ride heights sort of bang on so that you're not overdoing it.

Toto Wolff said the Mad Ring is a lot like Budapest and Zandvoort, and those are the two circuits that Lando Norris recorded his wins at this season.

Max Verstappen compared it to a different circuit in Jeddah, and then on the broadcast, they called it Jeddah with steroids because of how difficult some of the corners are.

But guess who won the last race in Saudi Arabia? It was Oscar Piastri in a McLaren too.

And now after two practice sessions with Ferrari right after Mercedes, betting lines still have Lando finishing in the top five on Sunday.

There's also this ability to deliver traction and riding curbs that will matter.

So remember, Max Verstappen is going to complain of something's broken in the rear.

He'll keep continue to, he'll continue to say that despite being in the top three or the top five of all the, all the sessions that he can be.

But I think this is a race where Lando Norris will probably lead from the front.

So could it be that the traditional challenges that low grip, high evolving surfaces bring to drivers and teams still exist? remain

as is and on top of that Ferrari's the duo upgrade has not quite worked out very well it did not seem to be super effective in Monza maybe it was but we never got the real opportunity to find out because Leclerc crashed out himself Lewis got put in a compromised position and the yo-yo racing makes it tough to tell the true pace of a car so Madring will be more revealing on that front too where are Ferrari really in this grand scheme of things and how much can Max Verstappen do because this is yet another Jeddah-style circuit where I'm almost going to call it like a cyberpunk circuit in a way.

We have Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and now Kimi Antonelli all on the track, all at the same time, and Lando Norris.

We're looking at some of the greatest drivers ever, all on the track, all at the same time.

And I'm like, pinch me, dude.

Who can get P2.

Like, If I'm Toto, I'm fine with that.

If I've got a rock star, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, LeBron James, Derek Jeter caliber in my one seat, Max Verstappen, I'm fine having someone who's a bodice or a George Russell in my second seat.

Because they'll pick up wins.

Same with McLaren, they also kind of lost it.

So that four top teams gone, which explains how Verstappen ended up in P3.

Now, this is not to put down Verstappen or anything, but a lot of times Verstappen ending up in a podium is simply just diligent driving.

The Red Bull car has become reliable and reliable over time, so that's a good thing.

So again, so a lot of factors there.

So whatever Mercedes are able to pull off, McLaren should be able to pull off as well.

Maybe there will be a delay.

So I am back to thinking that Verstappen will again be fighting for P6, P7.

This is the new, improved, marginally mature Max Verstappen.

I feel that he could go for pole position.

Shout out to, of course, Kimi Antonelli as he has been dominant all season long there on the F1.

We've seen Russell, of course, coming in second and Verstappen rounding out the podium in third, but finishing out the rest of this f1 season will we be able to see anyone make a run at this youngster as he's been so dominant all year long it's been fun to watch we got several rounds left to go they'll be coming back to the united states before we know it we'll keep you all up to date with all the f1 open wheel side of things now let's head to the short track as this weekend a huge Weekend in Indiana.

I've got to say, though, if anyone can handle a new track, a good, experienced driver that can handle a new track and work his way through it, it's Max Verstappen.

I mean, look, Max, even in Monza, he's just dragged that car to the podium.
