Despite the fact that the Conservative Party of British Columbia did not have a leader in place when that election was called because the leader who got elected just a few weeks ago has stepped down already because, you know, half her caucus mutinied on her.
What do we think? Well, additionally, the last provincial election in B.C.
And so, you know, certainly EB's critics have accused him of some pretty craven choosing of the timing here.
EB, for his part, sounds at least a little bit like Doug Ford did last year, saying that
You know, BC needs to have a new strong government with a new strong mandate to deal with these challenges coming from south of the border.
I think that was a bit more of a credible argument last year than it is this year.
That aside, we've also had at least, as of my last counting, I think there were four cabinet ministers in EB's government who are now opting not to run again.
Including some very prominent names, some of the most popular members of EB's caucus opting not to run again.
