Noted - Episode 134: Playoffs Review and Finals Preview

In some ways I've been, I've been somewhat disappointed by some of the series.

Like, you know, I, I really thought that Minnesota, Colorado was gonna be a much more compelling series.

I thought it was gonna be more competitive.

At times it looked like it, it could have been.

But Minnesota, that was obviously my pick from the west.

Completely wrong about that.

It, I, I...

It honestly seems like I've been wrong about almost every single series so far.

[laughs] Um, I think I b- believe, I thought that Edmonton was gonna somehow figure out their form, win against Anaheim.

Anaheim goes on a little bit of a run.

They're ahead of schedule.

I, I kind of th- You know, I knew that m- I, I didn't know, but n- I thought that Minnesota was gonna beat Dallas.

I thought it was a long shot, but that ended up happening.

Ob- obviously, the Avalanche beating the, the Kings, that's a no-brainer.

But Montreal has been a huge surprise for me this post-season, and I think again, that's one of those teams, young core talent ahead of schedule, right? I mean, high-skill team.

I think we saw that there's much more edge to their game than I even knew they had in them, but that Anderson is an animal.

Um, Newhook had an unbelievable playoffs.

Former Blues Alexander Texier and Boldy contributing in big ways.

It was, it was fun to watch.

Even though I don't, I didn't want them to win, um, any of the series that they've played in, they're fun to watch.

They're a fun-to-watch team.

Yeah.

That team has skill up and down the lineup, just a ton, a ton of young starlets that are all blossoming at the same time.

Uh, you know, it is kinda shocking to see the, the Gallagher situation, for him to not really get a run.

Uh, it looks like his time's up there.
