They're gonna be like, "Off Campus."

[laughs] Back in my day.

It's a young adult kind of TV show.

So if you liked The Summer I Turned Pretty and Off Campus, it's not as good as that.

It's quite cheesy.

The acting isn't as good as these other shows that were released on Amazon Prime, but it's still a nice, easy watch.

Yeah.

As we have seen with the success of Heated Rivalry and with Off Campus, because those books and their adaptations did well, now every studio is snapping up contemporary romance left and right to do their own.

And so if we see whichever romance that ends up being the first one to the screen, If we see it do well, we're going to see more of those.

And so I just want that to happen.

Yeah.

You know, all the CGI and dragons and magic and the sets.

You can't just film like off campus just filmed at a college in Canada.

Right.

Shay Rudolph has joined the cast of Off Campus as Summer De Laurentiis, the younger sister of Dean De Laurentiis, as the adaptation of Elle Kennedy's Briar U Universe continues.

I've seen a lot of chatter about this online, but I still haven't watched or read these books.

I think it's a little like it's new adult-ish, I think.

love that show and we love Off Campus.

I'm going to a heated rivalry party tonight.

I went to one.

And then in terms of book news, not too much, not too much as the last time we chatted.

They did announce that Stephen Kalen from Off Campus is gonna be in the Housemaid's.

Yes.

Secret.

And, like, before I know it, I'm like, "I am, like, literally watching the love story between, like, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old." And when it starts to get spicy, I'm almost like, "This is, like, so inappropriate.

Like, I should not be [laughs] watching this," you know? But I got into that show that I know, I'm sure a lot of you guys got into, Off Campus.

Uh, it was on Prime, and I got into it, and a lot of people were talking about it online, and I was like, "I wanna say something about this conversat- like, I wanna have something to say in this conversation." It's probably a weird different approach, but I did this post.

It was a carousel about, like, what it means about your love life depending on, like, what guy you thought was hot in Off Campus, you know? And I just, like, you know, wrote about, like, "Oh, if you like this guy, then, like, this is what's missing from your ro- your romantic relationship," whatever.

And it was just, like, my way of being in the conversation, 'cause I liked the show, and I wanted to talk to people who liked the show.

But I was taking a different approach 'cause I was being true to me.

Like, the message has to become, have less words is what I was getting.

Um, it has to talk on broader topics.

I'm, like, such a sucker for it.
