I thought it was a really good movie.
So you agr- you're, you're Ben Sha- you agree with Ben Shapiro? You think it's a masterpiece?
I w- I thought it was really good.
I thought it was a very good movie.
I wouldn't say masterpiece.
I would say it was, um-
Oh, so is, is Ben Shapiro more woke than you?
He might be.
I, I have not read...
Here's what I'll say about Ben Shapiro.
When it comes to his, uh, film criticism-
He's f- down the middle
...
I drop everything, and I usually read it because he knows what he's talking about.
Yeah, he's-
He's, he's good at it
... fair and balanced.

It is Tuesday.
It's July 21st, 2026.
Spain is your World Cup champions, and, uh, Argentina, the luck run out.
Uh, what a terrible World Cup final it was.
Bad game.
Oh, really?
Bad game.
Argentina was just, like, they were...
I, I wish that Spain had scored earlier.
If Spain had scored earlier in the game, it would've been a good game.
But Argentina's game plan was pretty much like let Spain pass the ball, and, uh, j-
That was my question to y'all.
I came in here with a question though, 'cause that was the first full soccer match I've ever watched.
That's a bad one.
That's, yeah, that's-
That's a bad start
... that's bad.
But no, I'ma, I'ma tell you, it made me a soccer fan.
I, there was so much about the game that I liked.
Really?
Like, yeah, it was hype to me.
Like, I liked it.
That's awesome.
I enjoyed it.
It just seems, I-
Questions-
...
I feel like most people, if that was the first game they watched, it'd be the last.
Nah.
Nah, nah.
I, I, like, I, to, to me, this is what it seemed like.
As a, I wouldn't even call myself a casual, as somebody who never watched soccer, I watched and I was like, it seems to me like what you, kinda like what you said, it seems to me Argentina's game plan was to not attack-
Mm-hmm
... at all.
Like, they had no plans of scoring until it got down to the time they had to try and score.
You know what I mean? Like, they didn't look like they, every time, they just kick it away, you know what I'm saying? Kick it away.
That was they whole shit.
And I don't know if that's game plan.
I don't know.
I, I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm not, I'm no soccer guy.
But what I liked about it was Spain was on the offensive, and they were down there, and they, and, uh, Argentina's goalkeeper, he was, man, that boy, he, he made it, he, he earned his money.
He earned one.
He earned his check that, that match.
Yeah.
Uh, but it, it, I, I just enjoyed the fascination of, like, it's like life, you know? It was like a whole bunch of shit might happen, and you just- [laughs]
Mm-hmm
... you get excited about it.
So I was just really excited.
It was, it was live to me.
I, and, and if it gets better than that, I'm in.
You know what I'm saying? I'm, I'ma pick a country.
I know that's gonna trigger you, but I just messed with you, man.
[laughs]
Ah, no, man.
People do, a lot, we, we got a lot of those.
The, the thing about that game is, like, Spain is a very technical, precise, like, wait for one moment and pounce, and then they're, if they get up one-nothing, that's it.
They're gonna, they're gonna sit on the ball, and you're not gonna get it the rest of the game, and that's it.
Argentina, vastly outmatched in that game, was trying to drag them into a knife fight and, you know, just foul the shit out of them.
And did, really.
Yeah.
They really did it.
For proportions of it.
Yeah.
And so it was just a bad-
So they-
... confluence of styles that led to that g- I mean, thank goodness Spain won.
That would've been so disgusting.
But see, and this is why I think I liked it, I like watching football, like regular football, American football.
Uh, no disrespect to, you know, anybody else, but I like watching football, and I like watching defensive games 'cause there's a chess match.
Mm-hmm.
So it, what, me not knowing and understanding soccer, I kinda understood what was going on.
There was a chess match going on.
Argentina looked like they don't have as much skilled players that can...
Aside from Messi.
And again, all I, all I've ever seen is highlights for Messi.
That was the first game I've ever watched him play.
So it didn't, it didn't seem to me like, like Argentina had a lot of skilled players-
They do not
... that could, that could dance.
Mm-hmm.
You know what I'm saying? It seemed like, uh, Lil, that lil' motherfucker number 19, I think he's number ni- 19, from Spain?
Yeah.
Oh, Yamal.
Yamal.Hard. That boy cold.
Uh, they had another one, 23, I think it was.
He had, uh, the little Sideshow Bob hairdo.
Uh, Williams three-
That motherfucker was cold
...
Oh, Nico Williams?
Mm-hmm.
He was awesome.
Maybe, I don't know.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
He had the locks.
Yeah.
Yes.
That was number 17.
I was talk- no, I think it's, like, number 26 or something.
He had, like...
It was, like, real floofy, like Sideshow Bob.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
The, um, uh, Cucurella.
Oh, I hate him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
There you go.
Yeah.
There you go.
There you go.
Yeah.
So, like, those cat- they, they was just...
They was dancing circles around Argentina.
Mm-hmm.
Now, Argentina had, like, '86 Bears defense type vibes.
Like, they was just looking to bully people.
[laughs] Like, that's what it looked like.
They was just trying to foul people, fuck with, give people hell.
Yes.
And, like, although I don't like, I didn't, like, it's not, it's probably not what I prefer.
Everybody wanna see high-flying shit.
I understood the chess match that was going on, and it was, it was entertaining.
I enjoyed it.
That's actually a-
I enjoyed it
... a pretty much perfect breakdown of the game from somebody that's never watched a soccer game.
If you liked that-
Yeah
... soccer game, you'll like most soccer.
I mean, that was not a, like, a, a particularly fun game to watch.
And the crazy thing is, like, we didn't even get to see much Messi, because you're right, you're absolutely right about Argentina's game plan, which was, it was pretty mu- if you saw how they were marking the ball, too, they were not trying to get in the passing lanes.
They weren't trying to disrupt shit.
They were just standing in between the man and the goal and saying, "You're not gonna get any shots on us.
You're gonna have to dribble the ball into the net." And Spain is pretty, uh, overall, pretty much content to try to do that.
They love passing inside the box and getting as close as possible.
But, um, Argentina was just like, "We're, we're not gonna let you have any shots, uh, anywhere close to the box.
We're not gonna let you get a clean cross off.
We're just gonna try to stay in between you and the goal and, um, and then foul you if you start to get past us." And, um, it made for, I think, a pretty boring game for the most part.
But then once Spain scored and Argentina had to open it up a little bit, you saw that Argentina can be fun when they, when they have to be.
But they just didn't do any of that shit beforehand.
It, I thought for, for a couple minutes there that Argentina was gonna get, get a goal, get the equalizer, and then it would go to penalties, and then Argentina would win in penalties despite getting outplayed for, you know, 99, 105 minutes.
Their first shot attempt-
So I had, I had another question.
The dude with the locks, number 17.
I forget his name.
Yes.
I'm sorry.
He, he had a score that was taken back, and although the majority of flopping-ass shit that happens in soccer irks me, that one didn't seem like a foul to me, and I was...
I just didn't understand what actually happened, and I looked it back, like, three or four times.
I was like, it, I didn't see anything.
The dude passed it.
It just didn't look like anything to me.
I, it was like, "Well, I guess..."
Where he stepped on the guy's foot?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, that's incidental.
Like, he didn't, like, he do it on purpose, like, soccer.
Yeah.
I think if you step on a defender's foot in the box and they fall down and it causes them to, like, stop defending, most of the time-
Mm-hmm
... a ref is gonna make a call on that, even though he probably didn't need to fall down.
It was a little bit of a flop.
Um-
So it was kinda weak.
It was weak.
I wasn't sure
...
it, it was a little weak.
It was a foul, but-
It was a foul, but, like, not, not a bad one.
And my last question, why does the ref wear shoulder pads?
That's a, a very good question.
[laughs]
Um, to make them look more authoritative.
Was that what that was?
It might be.
'Cause I did notice he, he had very broad shoulders.
It might...
When I was a ref, I don't think our uniforms had shoulder pads.
They might have, actually.
Now, now that I'm thinking about it, they might have.
I don't know.
It was weird to me.
I was like, "Why is this nigga wearing shoulder pads?" I...
There's like...
It was weird.
Let's see.
Oh, and the other thing, so this...
So I was watching with my homeboy who like watching soccer.
He was, like, telling me, "Oh," so I was just picking his brain.
That's why I really got into it.
I didn't realize that you could step out of the bound, out of bounds, and the ball just, the, the ball just had to cross all the way out of bounds.
Mm-hmm.
So that, that cleared up a lot of-
Yeah
... misunderstandings for me on my end.
Uh, the other one was when you go to extra minutes, there's just a guy that counts how much minutes pass, uh, that ha- that had stoppage.
Mm-hmm.
But my question is, why not just stop the clock rather than having a guy count those minutes?
These are very good questions.
You want the real answer?
Yeah.
To allow for corruption.
[laughs]
So that if they say, "Hey, there's four extra minutes," they, they always say a minimum of four minutes of added time, and then it's 4:08 and Argentina needs a goal and they're coming down.
Well, we'll let them have this attack and see what happens, and then ball goes out for a corner.
Well, you gotta give them the corner-
Mm-hmm
... and so on and so forth.
It's to, so that they can, you know, give them what- whatever team they want to have the best chance.
Just see what happens.
Fair enough.
Fair enough.
They don't wanna stop the-
Fair enough
...
they don't wanna stop the game in the middle of a scoring opportunity.
I mean, yeah.
Who would? Yeah.
So that's, that's...
Yeah.
It, it, it's a very weird rule that soccer has where nobody knows except for the referee how much time is actually left in the game.
You, you wanna pick a Premier League team for this year like you picked the Brewers?
How long does the soccer season last?
A long time.
But see, here's why it's good, though.
It gets slow.
You don't ha- I mean, I, n- you know, I don't expect you to be locked in for all 38 matches, but it's on when other sports aren't on.
It's a perfect lead-in to football during football season.
Games are at 9:00 AM.
You, you watch that and leading into.
Then during, uh, like, the winter when it's just, you know, like NBA and NHL, it's on.
You get Champions League all the way through the spring, and then Premier League through the spring as well.
So it's a good...
When there's nothing else on, soccer's on.
So you got MLS, and then, and isn't there, like, another league, though?
In the US?
Just any, uh, like, I, 'cause I know, I know one of, like, Bar- Barcelona or something like that is a big team, right?
I love, I, I love that-
They're not in the MLS, right?
...
when you think of professional soccer-
MLS
... you think MLS first-
[laughs]
... and then you're like, "Is there another one besides MLS?" MLS is the Uni- that's the US league, and it is, um, it's not one of the top leagues in the world.
It is a viable soccer league.
It is a, it's been in business since 1995 And never once has it gone out of business.
That's the, that's the best thing you can say about the MLS.
The top-
And Messi plays in the MLS too
...
the top leagues in the world are England, France, Germany, Spain, and, uh...
England, France, Germany, Spain.
What's the fifth one I'm missing? Italy.
Those are the, the five best leagues in the world.
Okay.
So-
And, and so which one, which one's the, like, the ma- like, the best club? Uh, it's like Barcelona, isn't it? Is it Barcelona?
Uh, Barcelona-
I mean-
...
Real Madrid.
No, Man- Manchester, Manchester.
Manchester United.
Which one's that one?
That, that's the one.
So I think, I think Man U historically is probably...
They might be in the, in the top five most famous sports teams in the world.
Oh, absolutely.
100%.
And what league are they in?
Premier League is England.
Yeah.
That's what...
That's the best league.
I would say-
That's the one.
Okay
...
most famous would be...
I, I think Barcelona or Real Madrid.
I would say it's Madrid and Man United are probably the two most famous teams in the world.
And then, uh-
And maybe the Yankees.
So if I-
...
so when is the, when is the Premier League? Premier League, that's, that's Eng-
With the Pr-
So that's, that's the English version of the MLS.
You know what I'm saying? We- Yeah, when is the...
I would rather watch the Eng-
August to May.
They're all-
All right.
I, I'll pick a, I'll pick a Premier League team.
I'm not picking a farm club team in the MLS.
No. Yeah.
That's what I was...
I said Premier League.
They're all pretty-
Oh, I thought you meant MLS.
No
...
I'm not doing that.
Pretty much every league in the world is August to May.
The MLS runs on a different schedule, but they're switching soon, I think.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I'll pick, I'll pick a Premier League team.
Let me, um, let me do a little research.
Are you looking for-
I'm not doing Man- Man- Man United's like picking the Yankees, right?
Yes.
I ain't doing that.
Yeah, fuck all that.
No, no offense, uh, Mack.
It's fine.
I have a take, I have a take about soccer in the United States.
I'm listening.
Lay it on me, big dog.
It should be a springtime sport.
Meaning starting in the spring?
Yeah, meaning in high schools.
So where I-
It is
... well, no, a lot of places it's not.
So w-
Oh, in Tennessee it is, I think
... where, where I'm from, Virginia, it is, um...
My, my district was definitely in the spring, but there's a lot of other teams that are close by that would play in the fall.
And then after I, after I graduated, I've learned that most teams across the country play in the fall.
So it goes right up against football.
Yeah, that's bad scheduling.
Bad scheduling.
You should not do that.
It should be across the board spring sport.
Um, yeah, Aaron, pi- you should pick, pick a, a Premier League team.
I already did.
Who you got?
You know how it just, it just speaks to you?
I'm fas- Can you tell me what spoke to you and I can guess what the club is?
And, and be careful because I-
The name.
Okay.
Just the name.
I picked-
Just the name jumped off the page and said-
I know what it is
... "This you."
I know what it is.
I, I picked West Ham a few years ago, and then they just got relegated, so now I'm, I'm shit out of luck.
He picked-
Oh, wait, wait, hold on, wait, hold on, wait, hold on, wait.
Yeah, English Premier League.
Okay.
I was making sure I had all the, the teams.
Yeah, yeah.
This, this is...
Yeah.
Are they blue and red?
Uh...
Is their logo blue and red?
No.
Oh, I w- I was sure it was Crystal Palace.
Oh.
Are they-
No, no, no. I...
That one's okay
...
the Wolves?
I don't know the mascots.
I'm just looking at the names.
Is it Wolverhampton?
There aren't any-
No.
Tottenham?
No.
There aren't any other names that are jumping off to...
Newcastle?
Nope.
What is it?
Liverpool.
Okay.
Oh, I mean, you b- you picked [laughs] if not the Yankees, you picked the-
Dodgers.
Oh.
Yeah, you p- the Dodgers.
[laughs]
[laughs] It's, uh, yeah, LeBron.
It's LeBron's team.
Damn.
No, but-
Well, I mean, it's, you know, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a man that likes his whiskey.
Liverpool, you know, my, my, my liver stays in a, in a pool full of whiskey.
Okay.
But, but that is at least, that's-
Now, now I can't-
No, no, no, no.
That is a club that is good enough that it will keep you engaged.
The good thing about Liverpool too is they are...
Like, Liverpool is, they look at themselves as being kind of like rebels, like, on the outside.
Because, yeah-
Mm-hmm
... they're a part of England, but a lot of people from Liverpool don't consider themselves to be, like, British first.
They consider themselves, "Yeah, I'm, I'm from Liverpool." And then-
Scouse
... yeah, um, Scouser is what they call themselves.
And then after that, "Yeah, I guess I'm British too, kind of."
Yeah, well, yeah, I, I, I rescind.
I rescind this.
I'll tell you why I rescind this.
I just looked at their jerseys.
Not a fan.
Okay.
The search goes on.
If it's any consolation-
Yeah
... soccer teams change jerseys every single year.
Now, like, Liverpool's home-
Oh, I didn't know
... will always be red, but then, like, the away jersey and the third one they change every season.
See, this is...
Yeah, that's gonna make me not a f- this isn't too hard right now.
I mean-
... purple
...
the, the, the blues of Manchester City.
Is it?
Go check out those-
Well, I thought you said Manchester was like the Yankees.
Man United is like the Yankees.
Man.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, now I'm looking at the logos.
I got the logos pulled up.
I mean, Liverpool's got a sick logo, I gotta be honest.
I also like Brentford's logo.
The bee?
The bee, yeah.
The bee's a good one.
Brighton is a solid logo.
Yeah.
Oh-
Signal
...
I forgot that, uh, that the Wolves got relegated too.
Yeah.
Whoops.
They're all crests.
Like, all these, all these, all these logos are crests.
Yeah, that's what they're called
... like, this is

So, um, one of my favorite posts from the World Cup, it just came out yesterday.
It's from my guy.
You know my guy.
Your guy.
Yeah.
I'll give, give you a hint.
Money.
Um, um-
Cash.
Patel?
Cash, yeah.
Oh, I saw his post.
So, yeah, Cash put out a h- a hype reel, a sick edit of the job that he did at the World Cup, where he's walking around with windbreakers, shaking hands, kissing babies, uh, talking about how there were no disasters at the World Cup.
I...
And I gotta say, like, yeah, I don't know how much of that was Cash Patel's doing, but pretty impressive to put on a, an event like that in the United States and have, uh, very little in terms of, you know, any, any sort of bad behavior.
But the funny part of the post, uh, was when he was talking about how they, how the FBI assisted in, uh, doing, like, counter-drone activities and counter-drone surveillance.
The funniest phrase maybe I've, I've ever seen from the FBI.
I'll just read the, the entire, uh, paragraph to you.
"We established the first ever counter-UAS drone school, training members of law enforcement from across the country for the World Cup.
We seized over 700 drones near FIFA airspace." FIFA airspace is one of the funniest two-word combinations that I've ever heard.
I love it.
Mm.
I love it, that we have- that FIFA has...
They've got their own no-fly zones.
They have, they operate as a sovereign territory wherever they are in the world.
Um, and shout out to Cash Patel for coining an awesome new phrase.
I love it.
FIFA airspace.
Brilliant.
Um, also over the weekend, uh, Aaron, do you watch any golf?
Uh, I watched a little bit of it.
Um, I was really busy this weekend.
I, I watched a little bit of it, but I did see the, uh, the Bryson-
Yes
... uh, cheating scandal.
So, um, a couple things.
I wanna know your opinion on Bryson's, whether or not he cheated, whether or not the punishment was fair.
But first, um, this just, this new wrinkle came out this morning.
Um, as, as Bryson was appealing his ruling or having a discussion with the rules official after his round, he threatened to call the president.
I'm just on the phone with the president.
Yeah.
[laughs]
He, he threatened to call Trump-
[laughs]
...
so that Trump could come in and, and, uh, give, what is it, the Royal...
What, what the fuck? The R&A.
He threatened to have the-
It's a Care- it's a Care- it's a Karen move.
He, he said, "I might, I might just have to call the president and get him involved in this rule dispute."
Was he serious about that? He was serious?
I think he probably said it in passing, but it was...
But he was probably serious.
Yeah, I mean, he thought about it.
He's boys with the president.
They pl- they've played a round of golf together.
I'm sure he's got his number or, uh, at least somebody who, who's close to him's number, um, and probably considers him to be a friend.
But to threaten to call the President of the United States on the Royal R&A because you got penalized two strokes [laughs] is the funniest fucking move, and just when I think Bryson can't get any worse, he gets...
He just c- completely redeems himself.
I love this Bryson.
Thank you for, thank you for [laughs] for saying that you're gonna call mom and dad.
Uh-
[laughs]
It's so fu- I wish that he had...
I think he, at some point, he probably thought to himself, um, "This would, this would turn what's, uh, like half of a circus into a complete clown show." So I guess he made the right decision in the end to just accept the two-stroke penalty.
Uh, but m- my take on, on the entire thing was that he definitely cheated, and that type of shit happens all the time, and they don't enforce it across the board.
And I think Bryson, because he's, you know, d- he stands out as being kind of a prick sometimes, and he puts a big target on his back.
I think that when they were alerted to what he did, and it was obvious, and it was caught on camera, they, they chose to come down on Bryson in a way that maybe another golfer might get the benefit of the doubt.
Um, but again, I, I think by the letter of the law, he, he definitely cheated.
Yeah, that's how I saw it, uh, was w- w- it wasn't, like, super obvious, but if you know the rules of golf, he did improve his lie.
Do other people improve their lies sometimes? Yeah.
Um, but, uh, like, like I, I saw, I saw the banter back and forth, and it's like super Bryson fans are just like, "Oh, what about this guy? And what about this guy? And what about this guy?" Yeah, you may be right, but he don't take it for...
He still cheated.
Yeah.
He still...
I, I don't think it was like...
I don't, I, I don't know.
You can never measure a man's intent and a man's heart.
Like, I, I don't think he's, like, always trying to get over or something.
Like, you know what I'm saying? Some people, like, always trying to like...
If you play golf with some of the homies, like, he always finds his ball.
You know what I mean? Like, he, you know what I'm saying? Some of them cats always, you know.
I don't think it's one of those situations.
I think he, you know, he was in, he was in the midst of the top of the tournament, and he was like, "Let me get the best opportunity I can right here."
Mm-hmm.
And he, he did improve his lie, yeah, and I think he cheated.
But-
Yeah
... take your strokes like a man-
And, and-
... move on
... like all the, all the Bryson defenders out there, when they show clips of other people doing it, they, they kinda have a point.
Like, it does happen.
But it's like, it's a bad point because all you're saying is, "Yeah, he cheated." It's a what about him?
Yeah.
Yeah.Did-
But it, it- Go ahead
Did he, uh, I saw this happened, but I didn't engage.
Uh, did he actually quit? Or did-
No.
Okay.
So he played through the weekend.
So, uh, the flow chart in Bryson's mind when, when confronted with a two-stroke penalty went, um, "Well, maybe I'll call the president." And then, uh, when that didn't work, it was like, "Well, then maybe I'll just quit entirely." And then when that didn't work, he was like, "Okay, I'll play."
How'd he finish?
He played pretty well.
That's the thing is like he squandered what could've been a pretty good opportunity for himself.
Because if he had just be- if he had seen it and said, "Okay, I see your point.
I disagree with it, but I'm not going to like try to call the president or anything stupid like that.
I'll just take the two strokes."
That is just wild.
[laughs]
Uh.
That shit is so weak.
[laughs]
I know.
If he had just accepted it, and then gone out there and played on Saturday and played well, because he did, he played really good on Saturday, then people would be like, "That's awesome." That's very mentally tough of Bryson to do that.
But because he did all that other bullshit, people are just like, "This guy's a clown."
Over/under .5, uh, more President Trump involvements in a sport governing body, uh, during his time as president.
Over.
Over.
Like, to the point that he gets something overturned or something happen, not just he, you know, makes a comment about something.
I would say...
Well, to, to actually like get results-
Golf is the one it would happen
... to get results out of something?
Yeah.
Or seriously try to.
I think, I think those are two different things.
I think FIFA is the one singular organization, and the World Cup especially in the United States, that was susceptible to literally changing their rules because Donald Trump asked them to.
I don't think that Major League Baseball would do it.
I think the right golf course, he could get something done.
He might.
But-
But then he would have to care.
That's what, the, he would have to care enough.
But I, Bryson was ha- he had the right idea.
Trump would be receptive-
Yeah
... to helping out Bryson.
But I don't know that the R&A would...
They'd probably-
No, right.
Yeah
... tell Trump to fuck himself.
Yeah, I don't know.
Because I know there, there's some golf courses over in, in, uh, Scotland, like the Trump Turnberry or whatever, that I, I don't know what the board of those looks like.
But I know that while they were being built at the time, the Scottish people were not happy with Trump.
So if it's the R&A, they might take that opportunity to say, "Go fuck yourself." Um.
Olympics in the United States, though.
Olympics? Yeah.
Try to get [laughs] try to get like the results of, uh-
That's another corrupt organization.
I'm trying to think what, what they'd have in the Summer Olympics.
Could be, uh, like a-
That's...
Like then you can judge
... a doping issue.
Could be a doping issue.
Yeah.
Next year we've got the, the US Open at Pebble, and we've got the British Open, excuse me, the Open Championship at St. Andrews.
They gotta fix that.
Yeah.
Why?
Uh, uh, that's the British Open.
It might be.
Yeah, that's, uh, it- we're gonna have a great slate.
I don't think that Augusta would listen to a Trump complaint.
No.
I-
Is he a member?
No.
I don't think that they w- That might be a bridge too far even for Augusta.
I mean, they don't, they don't care who the president is.
They're not listening to anybody.
Exactly, yeah.
He, he would go in and he'd try to make changes, and Augusta would not.
They'd be like, "No, we don't need any, we don't need any golf lady."
Hey, I need, I need your take on this, PT.
Your boy Dave Portnoy-
Hmm?
... said [laughs] this is a hard pivot by the way.
Mm-hmm.
My bad.
[laughs] He said, he said Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's critique of Caitlin Clark's face of the WNBA [laughs] was rooted in jealousy and stupidity.
[laughs]
Okay.
I need your take on that, dawg.
[laughs]
Is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar jealous of Caitlin Clark?
'Cause he said, I guess, I guess he said-
I need to, I need to see the, the clip from Dave to see what he's responding to and, and what he says.
Uh, the f- the SparkNotes is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said it's like, uh, uh, like if you call somebody the face, it's like a slap in the face to the people that have been the face of the NBA, like LeBrons or Michaels, to call Caitlin Clark the face of the WNBA.
And then Dave Portnoy [laughs] said it's rooted in stupidity and jealousy.
Well, Dave loves Caitlin Clark.
Maybe you gotta-
Mm-hmm.
Agree.
But to, to call Kareem Abdul- [laughs] the gr- like unanimous top five player of all time.
Jealousy's a wild take, dawg.
I'm trying to see where, where he called Kareem jealous.
He said, he said his opin- i- it, it was rooted in jealousy and stupidity.
"She could squash this league like a bug if she started her own league.
She is by far the most popular player in the league by every metric possible.
This argument makes zero sense and is just steeped in jealousy and stupidity." That is the quote from Dave.
[laughs] Let's see.
Yeah, she, she always shown respect for those that came before, which she's asked to do through poor conduct, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Yeah, I mean, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar definitely not jealous of Caitlin Clark, I would say.
I would say that, that, um, Dave is a diehard Caitlin Clark fan, and when he becomes a diehard fan of anybody, he will go to the ends of the earth and battle anyone that says anything that might be perceived as like even a, a tiny slight against that person.
And he will say, he will, like every now and again, get over his skis a little bit and go too hard.
And it seems like maybe if he's saying that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar...
I, I think if you were to talk to Dave, I don't think he would say that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is jealous of Caitlin Clark.
I don't know, man.
The whole face of this league thing is, is ridic- It, Caitlin Clark makes people lose their minds, which is, I think, good for the WNBA that you have a player that actually drives people insane.
Uh, like they just kinda forget what, what the hell they're talking about when they try to like break down every single foul that happens to her.
Um- I think face of this league is also just one of those kind of made-up terms that, that you can't quantify it.
You can say she's the most famous person in the WNBA, which is true.
Is she the best player in the WNBA? No, she's not.
Could she be? Yeah, definitely.
She could improve and, and, and become the best player-
Face of the league
... and the most famous.
But I think that might be where, uh, that's, that's the, like, nexus and starting point of all these crazy takes is that you have somebody who is the most famous player in the league who is not the best player in the league.
Yeah.
And that start-
I think that's-
That starts to get people crazy, and they think of...
They, they start to argue over the reasons why.
And then the people that love her, and she's the most famous, they'll say, "Well, she is the best player," or, "She's becoming the best player." But I don't...
I think if you watch the games, which I don't.
Hand up, I don't.
But I've, I've seen enough of the WNBA and know enough of the history of the league to know that she's not the best current player right now.
She's definitely in the conversation, but she's not...
She hasn't won anything.
Yeah, I, I think you nailed it.
I think she, she's, she's the f- she is the face of the WNBA, but she's not the best player, and that make people mad.
Yeah.
She also-
Fair enough
... she, she has a, a face that launches a thousand takes.
Every time she does anything, it's become-
Okay
... everybody get your take out.
She's very good for the take economy.
People have, have-
Yeah, yeah
... figured out that making everything that Caitlin Clark does or everything that happens to her, making that mean something, is good for their own personal brand.
And so she's not really responsible for a lot of it.
She's just kind of become a touchstone for everybody else that wants to talk about her.
She just wanna play ball.
Now, to be fair to Dave in all this, Dave has been a giant Caitlin Clark fan and been defending her and talking about her nonstop even before she was in the WNBA, before she became, like, the, the button that you press when you wanna get your clicks up, you know?
Hey, it's Fran from Chicks in the Office.
It's peak summer.
One plan is turning into five, but trust I'll be wearing Abercrombie to all of them.
Catch me in their Sloane tailored pant at work and then the happy hour right after, the Dillon dress for dinner plans when you want something easy but still put together, and of course, their denim.
Because Abercrombie denim just works, no matter the plan.
Keep up with the pace of summer without overthinking it.
Shop in the app, online, and in stores.
Don't disagree.
Speaking of buttons to press when you wanna get your clicks up, you guys see any good movies this weekend?
I did not.
Have you, have you tapped into any of the Odyssey discourse?
Are, do you have an Odyssey take?
I saw the movie.
Are you talking-
Uh...
I know whose Odyssey take you're...
Oh, no, I'm, I'm not talking about one specifically.
Oh.
We, we can talk about the takes because that is another one that's got, like...
The take economy around The Odyssey is a strong one right now.
Yeah.
It's a strong one.
Feels like we're back in Barbenheimer or...
Yeah.
Barbenheim.
The Barbenheimer days.
Yeah.
Movies are back.
[laughs]
I fucked up this weekend.
I fucked up bad.
I was, uh, I, I had a l- small little, uh, mechanical issue in my basement over the weekend, and I had to get down there with a, a Shop-Vac and get all the water out, put a dehumidifier down there, and, and clean that shit up.
And so I'd a, I had the, uh, N95 mask on when I was down there because there was a little bit of mold, and I should have given my, my Odyssey take while I was wearing the mask.
Mm-hmm.
That was a big miss on my part.
Um, but The Odyssey is...
It made people lose their minds because people got pre-mad about this movie.
They got pre-mad about it when they saw some of the casting decisions that were made, uh, like, and when they announced them, like, four months ago, five months ago, before the movie came out.
And then s- some people said it was, uh, the woke Odyssey, and then other people were disappointed in Christopher Nolan because they think that he made, uh, the Batman, uh, the Dark Knight, which was, in their opinion, like a conservative film.
Again, kinda like people that are looking through the lens of politics at everything.
They can transform anything into meaning what they want it to mean.
Uh, and so they were disappointed that Nolan casted Elliot Page as, they said as, like, Achilles, the warrior, uh, and, uh, Lupita...
How do you say her last name?
Nyong'o.
Nyong'o as Helen of Troy.
They were saying that these were woke casting decisions.
Uh, Elliot Page was not Achilles.
Elliot Page played, um...
I don't wanna do any spoilers really, but played, like, a, a small soldier that kind of got put in to the war on, like, some interesting terms.
I'll put it that way.
And, uh, Elliot Page's role was pretty much, like, five seconds, and then that's it.
Uh, so people got upset at it.
And it was a good movie.
I liked it.
I thought that there was not a whole lot of, uh, onscreen chemistry between Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway.
I thought that...
These are my critiques of the movie, uh, if I were to change certain things.
I didn't like, uh...
Was it Tom Holland that played his son? I didn't think he did a super convincing job of playing, like, a future king.
Uh, also, if you don't know the plot of The Odyssey, I, I don't know that I can do spoilers 'cause it's been out-
USC doesn't
[laughs]
It's been out for, what? 3,000 years.
Yeah.
Did you see their tweet?
No.
Oh my God.
They posted a, a Trojan, like, helmet-
Yeah
... and w- and said, "Our odyssey begins August 29th" or whatever.
People were like, "I don't know if y'all have seen or read the work."
Yeah.
You might wanna look into that-
Yeah
...
USC.
Uh-
I think the Troy Trojans commented on it.
It was like, "Hey, guys."
Yeah Spoiler, but-
So you, so-
I thought it was a really good movie
...
so you agr- you're, you're Ben Sha- you agree with Ben Shapiro? You think it's a masterpiece?
I w- I thought it was really good.
I thought it was a very good movie.
I wouldn't say masterpiece.
I would say it was, um-
Oh, so is, is Ben Shapiro more woke than you?
He might be.
I, I have not read...
Here's what I'll say about Ben Shapiro.
When it comes to his, uh, film criticism-
He's f- down the middle
...
I drop everything, and I usually read it because he knows what he's talking about.
Yeah, he's-
He's, he's good at it
... fair and balanced.
He is very good at...
He wanted to be a writer.
Like, he wanted to be a, a creative writer, do screenplays, teleplays, things like that.
That was his original...
He sh- I kinda wish he'd get back into that because he knows what he's talking about when he does film criticism.
Um, I've not read it.
I thought it was, I thought it was really, really good.
It's probably the best movie I've seen all year, which I think I've seen two movies this year.
Um, but it wa- the biggest compliment I can give it, it was about three hours long, right? Two hours, 50 minutes.
It felt like it was an hour-and-a-half movie.
Like, it, it, it moved along.
It was exciting.
Even knowing the, uh, the plot to it, I thought, I thought it was really good.
I hate when people say that.
It's a gigantic pet peeve of mine.
Why?
I've never once sat through something that was three hours and said, "You know what? That felt like it was an hour and a half." Feels like three hours every single time.
But no one, but a th-
And particularly when it comes to movies, when people are like, "That movie flew by." No, it didn't, especially if y- if you can't have your phone or anything, it is, it does not feel like an hour and a half.
You ever been in a three-hour movie that feels like a five-hour movie?
I, I feel like I, I'm pretty perceptive when it comes to time.
I feel like every three-hour movie I've seen felt like three hours.
I have been in movies that felt much longer than they were.
People said this about Oppenheimer.
They're like, "Oh, it's three hours, but it, I mean, you don't feel it." I felt every bit of it.
It was-
This-
It was three hours
...
so, so this moved along.
I thought the pace on this was better than Oppenheimer.
I think I liked, I definitely liked this better than Oppenheimer.
I haven't seen Oppenheimer.
Both good movies.
Uh, but it was-
Must watch?
I, I would recommend going to see-
It's good
...
I also liked that-
Oh, I haven't seen The Odyssey.
Oppenheimer's good.
I like that Christopher Nolan, he, he still uses film.
Like that a lot.
Yeah, I...
Did you see it in IMAX?
No, I did not.
So, and you, you felt you got the, the experience just fine?
Nope.
Oh, no.
No, I would like to s- I, I should have seen it on a bigger screen, yeah.
Oh, so you are one, you're one of the gaslighters.
What do you mean?
Like, that if you, if you don't see the whole ground, it's like you don't get the full experience.
Well, I, I did not see the whole ground.
I went to the theater that was close by, as, uh, I think 99.9% of moviegoers do.
No, I understand.
Yeah.
And I've, I, my hypothesis is that you, you get the gist of the movie pretty well.
Yeah, yeah.
I, I...
Again, maybe I'll, maybe if I see it on IMAX I'll think different.
I'll be like, "Well, that was way, way better." It, I'll say this, it's pr-
Wait, now you're confusing me.
Well, I th- I enjoyed it on a regular movie screen.
Okay.
Maybe if I see it on an IMAX screen, I would say that was a much better experience.
Maybe.
I don't know.
I'm sure it's a little better.
But the, um, it might be the loudest movie that I've seen.
Very loud.
So overall, I give it a, I give it good job.
I enjoyed it.
They come with small fries, a soft drink, and four-piece McNuggets.

Prices may be higher for delivery.
What's the other movie you've seen this year? You said you've seen two.
Let's see.
Uh, what other movies came out this year? I went to see Warfare.
That might've been last summer, though.
That, actually, I take it back.
Immediately, that's the loudest movie I've ever seen.
Warfare is the loudest movie.
Okay.
Um, what other movies came out this year?
Project Hail Mary came out this year.
Nope.
Nope, haven't seen it.
I haven't seen it either.
Disclosure, Disclosure's-
Disclosure Day
... haven't seen, uh-
Uh, yeah, also Warfare was over a year ago.
Yeah.
Okay.
Star W- uh, S- Toy Story 5.
Nope, haven't seen it.
I did see Toy Story 5.
Very disappointed.
[laughs]
Yeah, that, that, they could've done without that one, man.
Yeah, not very good.
That, that series to me, one through four was all bangers.
Uh, that was, that was not it.
Yeah, even four was good.
Uh, five, not good.
All of them.
Four was amazing.
Three was great.
Two was amazing.
One is a classic.
Uh, not a fan.
Did you see Michael?
No.
You know what? I don't think I've seen a movie-
Oh yeah, I did see Michael.
Yeah
... can we, can we make two separate graphics?
Sure.
Okay.
Here's the first one.
The Odyssey was the best movie I've seen all year.
Got it.
Okay, here's the second one.
The Odyssey was the worst movie I've seen all year.
Okay, cool.
All right, we'll see which one does better.
Okay.
[laughs]
Write that down.
Are you gonna disclose at any point in the graphics that it's the only movie you've seen?
I don't think that we should.
Just leave it out.
Oh, I saw Marty Supreme.
Shit.
That was also-
That was last year
... well, it depends when you saw it, 'cause it came out on Christmas.
I saw...
Hmm.
Do you think-
I, I think it was, I think it was...
Keep the graphics.
Keep 'em.
Did you buy your tickets-
Keep 'em
... like, on the-
[laughs]
Keep 'em
... on an app?
Keep 'em.
I used, I used a computer for that.
Go in your email and see.
Important purchase.
Go in your email, search Marty Supreme.
I might've seen it on a plane, but we won't get into that.
Then it was definitely last year.
We won't get into that.
Uh, but in theaters.
Right.
In theaters.
I, that's what I'll, that's what I'll say.
Uh, any other Odyssey discourse you wanna get into at all? Just everyone kinda went crazy with it.
I don't think-
Haven't seen it.
I do think people are stupid for getting mad at spoilers.
Yeah.
Where it's like-
I, yeah
... it's, like, the story of all time.
You know what? I think, so I've seen a lot of people say that the big problem they had with it was that Christopher Nolan didn't cast any Greek actors in a, a Greek story, the most important Greek story, and I agree.
I think Stavi definitely should've been in it.
Yeah.
[laughs]
Who do you think Stavi should've played?
Stavi, uh-
Should he have been Odysseus?
Odysseus?Listen, there's...
He should've been the Cyclops
Mm.
Interesting
Stavy as a Cyclops would've been fucking awesome
Yeah
Right?
Yeah
Mm-hmm
All right.
Next time, Ch- just Christopher Nolan, I've got my eye on you
Right
Shout out to Cyclops
He made the Hamilton of The Odyssey
Yes
Mm
Yes.

Uh, all right, what else we got going on in the news today?
You avoided the explosive diarrhea?
Explosive diarrhea, yeah.
I have so far
Sweeping the nation
I have so far.
Now, is, uh, is it Taylor Farms? Taylor Farms got thrown under the bus
They're...
I think they're saying it's not them now
They're safe
It was a false-
Okay
False positive
So it's a false...
For...
So Taylor Farms might have the lawsuit of all lawsuits ready to go
Maybe.
Is that th- who supplies Taco Bell? Is that-
Yes
... where that link came from?
Yes
So Taco Bell, is...
Are they marked safe?
No, 'cause they're...
No, 'cause people are still getting, what is it? Cyclopleurasis? Cyclosporasis from Taco Bell, apparently.
But so far, the Taylor Farms wholesale, I'm sure, didn't get linked to it because it was a false positive
Okay, so the FDA just put this out.
They said, "To clarify, the false positive lab sample does not change the basis for FDA's ongoing outbreak investigation or the overwhelming epidemiologically- epidemiological data supporting the current voluntary recall by Taylor Farms.
Over the weekend, FDA alerted Taylor Farms that a new sample of shredded lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico tested positive for Cyclospora during import examination at the southern border.
This ended up being a false positive, and Taylor Farms was alerted to the corrective test results Sunday.
FDA's traceback investigation and outbreak data continue to converge on shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms locations in central Mexico.
FBA- FDA will continue to work with federal and state partners," blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So there was a false positive over the weekend, but the FDA is saying that they still think that it was Taylor Farms de Mexico
Ye- yes
Even though there was a, a reported positive test from this weekend that was then walked back
Y- I guess
Okay, so they, they had a false positive this weekend, but the FDA is saying, "Even though it was a false positive, we still think it was Taylor Farms." If you go to, if you go to Taco Bell, you know what you're signing up for
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I, I still, I s-
B-
I, so I don't think Taco Bell...
Or, sorry, I don't think Taylor Farms is safe, but from this, but it seems that they think they are
Yeah
Possibly.
I don't know
Just, you know what? Life will kill you
True
I'm not gonna start, I'm not gonna start, uh, limiting my Taco Bell any more than I did in the past
P- people keep saying safest day to fly was September 12th, 2001 when it comes to Taco Bell
That is true.
That's very true.
But yeah, I mean, like I, I already limited the amount of Taco Bell that I would eat for my own y- digestive system's health
Did they have birds back up in the air on September 12th?
They did not, no.
It was, it was grounded
How...
When, when was the next flight?
I wanna say like a week, week and a half.
They grounded everything.
A-
It's kind of a long time
Yeah.
People were just stranded in different cities.
There was some, uh, tiny airport in Newfoundland, I think, in Canada.
It was the first one as you...
If you like go over the Atlantic Ocean, you know, you come down through Newfoundland if you're going to like New York-
Mm-hmm
...
New Jersey.
Um, there was some tiny airport there because they diverted so many flights that were en route over the Atlantic.
A tiny little town took on like all these different, I guess you could call them tourists, but they pretty much lived in the small town for like two weeks afterwards until they could get back in.
So yeah, I guess two thou- yeah, I guess September 12th would be the safest time to fly 'cause nobody's flying
No accidents
Yeah.
Uh, okay, what else we got going on today?
Uh, on my side of the world, uh, Big T, who you got in this, uh, in this week's Versus, man? You got YG going against The Game, man.
Who you got?
So I c- uh, I can only go based off what I know of those two men.
Uh, The Game had a song called My Life in like 2008-ish.
Is that correct?
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm
I love that song.
Uh, so I don't particularly know what we're talking about, but based off that, I would, uh, choose The Game because I really liked that song in middle school
Fair enough.
Yeah.
So I think, so, so The, The, The Street is saying this, which I kinda agree with, um, Game has a bigger, a broader reach with his catalog.
He's more known Like, globally and even nationally.
But locally, YG in LA and the West Coast probably has a little bit more slaps locally.
Uh, YG's known, but I, I think The Game is probably bigger, and so that's the discrepancy right now, YG versus The Game.
Uh, I think Game is probably the better rapper, but YG probably makes m- like, the West Coast sound at a higher rate, and it's more... probably got a little bit more bangers like that.
But as far as, like, hits, that's probably Game, so it's gonna be interesting.
Are they doing a battle rap?
That's what the Streets is saying.
Yeah, so they do ver- I don't know...
W- that was really big during COVID, right? When COVID happened, versus came out, so they had, they put one artist versus another one, and you do, like, hit for hit, and you see, you know, who come out on top.
Uh, this could've been on my side of things there too, but, uh, but so they still doing versus, right? They still do, like, a, a similar artist that will make a compelling, uh, little battle, and, um, that's the new one, the new one.
The new one coming up on, I think on Wednesday or Thursday, uh, YG versus The Game.
Just had to get Big T's take on that.
Streets wanna know.
Yeah.
I, I remember The Game.
What was the, uh, what was the best versus?
Hmm, that's a good question.
Oh, Jeezy and, uh, Gucci Mane.
Jeezy and Gucci Mane.
That shit, that shit was dope for multiple reasons, because they had real street beef where one of they partners died.
Jeezy's partner actually died.
Gucci...
I don't know if it was Gucci or one of Gucci's homies shot him, but it was because it was an invasion, and so a dude actually died.
And so, and it was, like, years back, and, uh, they wanted to do it.
Jeezy wanted to do it because he was like, "Yo, our past is our past.
Like, we both from it.
Like, this one's for the culture.
Like, let's just bury it." And, and Gucci was still on that shit like, "Yeah, put your mans in the dirt," like, on stage in front of Jeezy.
It was, like, really like, "Oh, shit.
This is about to go down." And then Jeezy was like, "Man, we, we past that.
We grown.
Let's show we can be better." And then he ch- he segued that into a song, which was really, really, it was fire the way he did it.
I think it was, like, a, a huge moment.
Obviously, yeah, Jeezy and Gucci was probably the best one to me.
I like that about, about rap that you don't get that in, in rock music, is, like, just straight up competition.
There's very little of that i- in rock and roll music where y- occasionally there'll be bands that'll say, you know, Oasis actually would talk shit about everybody behind their back and to their faces.
Uh, but it's-
Really?
Yeah.
Oh, dude, you got, you gotta read some quotes from the Gallagher brothers.
They hate everybody.
Okay.
Wow.
And they're not afraid-
Yeah
... to, to talk about it.
I think they referred to Nickelback as, like, a bunch of students.
Like, uh, told them to, "Shut the fuck up, you student."
All right.
Okay.
But yeah, they'll talk shit about everybody.
In rap it's like, yeah, they embrace competition.
In rock music, doesn't really do that.
That's where, The Roots.
This is the, that's where it came from.
Rap came from, so there was four elements of hip hop, Big T.
You, can you name the four elements of hip hop, Big T?
Hmm, I don't know that I can.
Ooh.
Can I try?
Hit me.
Okay.
Um, MC-ing.
Yep.
Uh, break dancing.
Yep.
I mean, rap has to be one of them.
That's MC-ing.
MC-ing.
Oh, okay.
Uh, like scratching or turntables.
DJ-ing.
DJ-ing.
See, that's what I would've said-
Mm-hmm
... was MC-ing.
And then what would the last one be?
The beef.
The what?
Beef.
I don't know.
No.
Uh, graffiti.
Oh, graffiti.
Okay.
Graffiti.
So those are the four elements of hip hop.
And so origin- it was always, like, ba- like battling, so they had what, like, like, break dancing battles.
They would have graffiti battles, DJ-ing battles.
Like, plus, that's how parties started.
Like, not, not parties in general, but, like, like, hip hop parties, right? That's how hip hop started, was, like, there was two DJs at a party, and one would spin a record, then n- the other one would spin a record, and they would go back and forth to who could get the party jumping the best, right? And hip hop was created because they used to make these, um, records back in the '70s, and in the middle of the records, they used to, they used to have what they call break beats.
Now kids call it lo-fi, right? Uh, the lo-fi sound.
Those were the [beatboxes] that was, those were break beats, and in the middle of those break beats, they would play other beats on top of those break beats, and that shit would get the party jumping.
And they would, they would change the speed of them, and it, it was innovative, like, for that technology at the time.
[clears throat] But anyways, they used to have those battles, and so out of that came rapping.
And so cats used to, you know, battle rap back and forth, freestyling off the top of their head, talking about their shoes, talking about their mom, whatever the case may be, right? And just who had the better skill set.
And, uh, so rap birthed from that, you know, back and forth, standing on a, in, in front of each other in a cypher.
That's why they still got it today, like the BET Cypher.
They got the XXL Cypher.
It's, like, rappers standing in a circle rapping.
That's, I, I came up like that.
I used to rap in a circle with cats.
It was fun, man.
That shit was, yeah, history.
There's a little history lesson for you.
And so where, where do I watch it? That's the other thing is, like, I, whenever people were talking about versus on the timeline, I never knew where to go to watch it.
Uh, I don't know where to...
I always just catch the clips.
Uh, it looks like you can just go to their YouTube, I guess.
Okay.
It's YouTube live?
I'm thinking.
Yeah, I'm think, I'm thinking it's just YouTube live.
Yeah.
Yep.
All right.
Yeah, I'll give it a shot.
And when, when's the next one gonna be?
Thursday.
Uh, the 23rd.
Okay.
Yeah, they just had B2K versus Pretty Ricky, Cash Money versus No Limit.
Yeah, they be doing them.
Another famous clip was, uh, Jadakiss.
He had a verse at the end of one of those things that was fucking dope.
Peep that verse if you like rap
rapUm, Big T
What's going on with the Tate brothers?
They're in jail.
Yeah, what happened? Why? What'd they get charged with this time?
Well, I think it's England that wants them extradited, right?
Yep.
I believe it's, uh, it's sexual assault-related crimes.
The Tates were taken into custody Saturday afternoon in Miami.
Um, yeah, I'm, uh, they were indicted on sex trafficking charges in Romania in early 2023.
Mm-hmm.
I believe it's related to that.
And they've been hiding out in the US?
Yeah.
If you wanna arrest me-"
Yeah
... that's where I'll be."
Yeah.
Well, they got him.
He like, uh, he even talked some shit about-
[laughs]
... about DeSantis, right?
I remember they had some sort of thing.
He said, he said something like, "If you ever want your, your wife to be governor, then you'll like back off me or something.
You won't arrest me." And then he like arrested him anyway.
Does he want his wife to be governor?
That's the speculation, is that his wife, uh, might, might run for office at some point.
I'm not familiar with her work.
Yeah.
So, so he's being extradited back to England?
Yeah, I believe so.
Uh, may be charged in the UK for offenses including rape and human trafficking-
Yeah
... prosecutors in the UK have confirmed.
He's a scumbag.
Always been a scumbag.
21 total charges against the two brothers, Tristan 11 and Andrew facing 10.
Yeah.
The guy's always been, uh, slimeball.
So is Andrew actually, like, not the, the leader?
He's the beta.
Yeah.
His brother, he's, he's-
Tristan has more charges
...
it, this is like, uh, this is like Stringer Bell.
You ever see The Wire?
No.
Okay.
Aaron, you've seen The Wire, right?
I must do.
Have not seen The Wire.
You haven't seen The Wire?
That, that's the one, yeah, that's, that's my, your, like, Star Wars-
Yeah
... movie.
You know what I mean? Like, "You haven't seen Star-" Yeah, I haven't, never saw The Wire, man.
Yeah.
Uh, that's, uh, Stringer Bell in this situation is Tristan Tate, and then Andrew Tate would be D'Angelo Barksdale.
Or no, Avon Barksdale.
Like, one guy's-
Totally
...
the face, the other guy's moving behind the scenes making, letting the other guy be the face.
At some point I'll watch The Wire and West Wing.
I just, I keep saying I'll do it, and then-
I tried to watch The West Wing.
You didn't like it?
The dialogue was too pithy.
Mm.
It's just too Sorkin.
Yeah, well-
It, it-
... that checks out
... it's just, like, rapid fire.
It feels like I'm watching Gossip Girl DC.
Mm.
[laughs]
Did he write that, too?
I don't think so.
Probably not.
Aaron Sorkin writing Gossip Girl?
It j- it's the same, it's the same writing.
It's the same style.
Oh, interesting.
Which is, like, super fast, witty dialogue.
See, you say super fast, witty dialogue is giving me Aymon Sherman, Amy Sherman-Palladino.
Okay.
Maybe that, too.
Very much high on his horse.
Yeah.
Very much.
Also, like, negotiation is the true spirit of America, and at the end of the day, we will work together because the Founding Fathers deemed it so.
It's like everything's gonna work out in the end if your leader read enough books.
Did Aaron Sorkin write The Newsroom as well?
Yes.
Yes.
Okay.
'Cause I've just seen that one clip from The Newsroom of the best country in the world.
The opening clip of the show.
Yeah.
Oh, is it? [laughs]
Yeah.
That's the only part from The Newsroom I've seen.
Well, the, and the, the other famous clip is, uh, when Bin Laden died and they're on the plane.
Yeah.
It's such a ridiculous... [laughs]
And they, they, like, they salute the pilot?
N- the pilot salutes them, right?
I forget.
Something about the pilot.
He says like, "Sir-"
"I wanted to tell you first," or something.
Yeah.
"I wanted you to be the first to know that your-"
I think may- maybe they told the pilot first.
I think so.
Yeah.
"That your country killed Osama Bin Laden for you tonight."
Yeah.
And then he, the pilot salutes, I think.
[laughs]
Could be totally, but it's, it's some ridiculous clip, yeah.
Yeah.
All right, what else we got going on? Um, is, is Mitch okay? Have, do we get an update on Mitch?
I can't imagine he's okay.
Is he alive? Who knows.
Yeah, did we get an update on him this weekend?
N- not, well, there was some picture going around that is certainly AI, but I don't know if it's AI that some rando made up or AI-
Yeah
... that his camp put out.
I can't find...
I think it's just that some rando made up.
Yeah.
Um, but yeah, I, I could not find any updates on Mitch other than, uh, Josh Hawley is calling on him to put, put out some sort of proof of life.
To step down?
Well, it seems like, you know, that now the, the Republicans are mad at him.
At Mitch?
Well, so there's, if, if he dies before August, it's 3rd or 4th, then there's a special election for the remainder of his term.
If it's after that, then they just hold out until the election in November.
Yeah.
He got a sister that can step in?
Good question.
I'm not sure.
[laughs]
So that, people have speculated that could be the reason that there is no news on his condition.
So no more newspaper pictures?
Not that I've seen.
Just hang on to this newspaper for me, Mitch.
Can you put it in frame? Make sure-
Just enough in frame.
Yeah.
Make sure I can take a look at it.

Now back to more nano-dosing.
Uh, Aaron, what do you got going on this week?
That dude, Bryan Johnson, the biohacker-
Yeah
... who's trying to, trying to live to [laughs] I don't know, 200 or whatever the fuck.
He got, uh, diagnosed with, uh, an autoimmune disease.
Yeah, poor guy.
I'm not laughing at him, but it's like [laughs]
You can laugh.
That shit funny as fuck, yo.
[laughs] Um, what is it called? Uh, ar-
Here's the thing, it's like it, it's not any more of a tragedy or a sad story that it happened to him than it is that it happened to anybody else, just because he wanted to live forever.
Yeah.
Him getting a disease is, is not funny.
It's, it's just the fact that he thought he-
He could beat diseases.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Agreed.
Yes.
It was funny before he got the disease.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Now it's really funny.
Uh-
He was recently-
But, yo-
He was at some game and they were interviewing him.
Uh, and he had an umbrella to, to not get any sun on himself.
He was like, "The UV rays, it'll, it'll mess up your..." He's like, "I can't, I can't get any sun."
[laughs]
It's like, all right, dude.
We get it.
He looked like it, too.
He looked like it.
Yeah, he definitely doesn't.
Terrifying.
Yeah, everywhere he looked like he seen a ghost.
That shit looked...
He looked horrible.
He says his stomach is eating itself.
Yeah.
What is the disease?
Uh, autoimmune gastritis.
Hmm.
The exact cause of the condition is unknown, but genetics, increased age, and the gut microbiome seem to play a role.
Which is funny [laughs] 'cause he's over here fucking taking all this shit, eating matrix oatmeal and... [laughs] Shit.
And there's, and there's like 112-year-olds who have ate like shit their whole lives, drink whiskey, and smoked cigarettes every day, they're like, "Yeah, that sucks." [laughs]
He tracks-
His life is a trip
... tracks his boners in his sleep.
Mm-hmm.
Tracks his son's boners.
Yeah.
That's the weirdest part.
He was tracking something about his wife, or like posting about her-
Her vaginal biome
... her sex life.
Yes.
Yes.
Yep.
Yeah, the vaginal biome score that he would put out.
I think, I think there's probably one thing that we could all do to make us live much, much longer.
Agre- e- from everything I've read at least, but it's not something I'm gonna do.
It just, if you just go vegetarian, you stop eating meat.
I think it-
Yeah
... 'cause heart disease is like the number one cause of death.
And so-
Mm-hmm
...
if you stop eating red meat, overall that tends to decrease your cardiovascular, uh, like plaque buildup, which will lead to you living longer.
But I'm not gonna...
I like it too much.
We were- when we first started this podcast, when we hit 40, man, we were supposed to change our eating habits.
Remember that?
No. [laughs]
[laughs]
No, I don't.
Yeah, we were supposed to, man.
What were we gonna do?
Uh, we were supposed to like take care of our health and start eating a little better, man.
'Cause mid- mid-30s, me and you was kinda, you know.
Yeah, 'cause you...
Yep, I remember that.
'Cause I was like, once I...
I, I can just change everything once I'm 40.
I'm still a kid.
[laughs]
I'm still a kid right now.
[laughs]
I'm just 36 years old.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's hard, 'cause then when you get to 40, right, I'm right- I'm on 40's doorstep and I'm like, "Fuck it." Eh, it's, "Fuck it." It's, I, it's, it's the motivation for me, is it's, it's hard.
It's hard.
Yeah.
It's very hard.
Like, I was supposed to work out with my boys this morning.
I got up, worked them out, and then I was looking at the weights like, "Nah, I'm straight." [laughs]
Yeah.
I'ma go, I'ma go golf later.
Fuck this shit.
You know what?
Maybe I need it.
Maybe I need it, though.
I don't know.
Once I'm 42.
42?
42 feels like that's, uh, officially when I should make that leap.
Me and you, Jackie Robinson though.
Yeah.
42 hits.
Yeah, I like that.
I like that.
Uh, Aaron, do you have any opinion on LeBron's future home?
Oh, I don't know.
I saw a tweet that was funny, though.
Some dude was like, "This is why I don't like LeBron.
Who the fuck does he think he is? He's such a narcissist." And that term just thrown around willy-nilly.
"Such a narcissist thinking he can hold up the entire league." And I'm just like, I mean, he is.
Yeah, I mean, they're not announcing the schedule until LeBron decides where he's gonna play.
Well, I don't think either of those things are incorrect.
So?
He does think he can hold up the league, but he can.
He is.
Yeah.
He's correct.
So, fair play.
That what I'm saying.
I'm like, who, who cares? Why-
LeBron is fucking with me personally now.
Yeah?
I'm trying to figure out my schedule for when I'm gonna go to the Wizards games, and they're not gonna put out the schedule till LeBron makes up his fucking mind and decides what team he's gonna play for.
What if he play for the Wizards?
They are sixth in the odds.
[laughs]
The fact that you know that.
Oh, we looked it up yesterday.
[laughs]
It was, um, Cavs won.
Cavs and Heat, as of last night, I don't know what they are now, Cavs and Heat pretty much a deadlock.
I hate that.
I want a new team.
You want a new?
Yeah.
So, then after that it's the Sixers.
Don't like that.
that.Okay, so a new team but not the Sixers
Yeah.
Warriors, fine
After that is the Warriors.
After that-
That would be fun
I would like to see him on the Warriors.
I would like that
Him making one more run at it, him and Steph, that would be fun
After that is the-
I would like that
...
Timberwolves.
I think that'd be fun, too
Could be fun
And then after the T- Timberwolves is the Wizards
This said, I'm not watching a game regardless, so it doesn't really matter to me.
Right
But, uh, Warriors, very fun.
Timberwolves could be fun.
Mm-hmm.
Wizards
Not fun.
No.
You don't think fun?
Nothing about-
No
...
the Wizards is fun
That, disagree
Even their name sucks.
The name sucks, the jersey sucks, the logo sucks
They need a complete rebrand
I agre- I, I agree.
I agree with that.
But if, if LeBron joined the Wizards, that would mean four out of the...
No, I don't wanna say starting five.
Uh, we'd have four number one overall picks on our team.
Tabansa, AD-
The French guy?
No. Ayton?
Or no, he was second
Yeah, Ayton
Oh.
Ugh
Yeah, and then LeBron.
And then, yeah, the French guy Sarr was second overall, and, oh, D'Angelo Russell's no longer on the team, I don't think.
I think we traded him.
Um, but he was second overall, too.
I mean, congrats.
Yeah
That's a hell of a team
It's a hell- hell of a roster
Yeah
Uh, no, he's gonna b- I think he's gonna go to...
I think he's gonna go to the Heat now
I don't wanna see that.
I don't n- I don't wanna see that.
What, what team gives him the best opportunity for his farewell tour? 'Cause he's gonna want the farewell tour like Kobe did.
What does he want-
So what team-
... to accomplish with his farewell tour? That's the first question.
Does he want to win a championship in his farewell tour?
It's tough, 'cause h- like even think how Kobe l- uh, left out, that shit was fire
Mm-hmm
He got standing ovations every arena he went to right before he left, and then the very last game, he, he dropped 60 just because Sh- Shaq told him to drop 50
That was the best night in NBA history.
The Warriors won their-
Yes
... 73rd game, too
That was, it was a great, it was great way to go out, you know?
Just had both of them right next to each other
It's a great way to go out.
Great way to go out.
Br- Bron gotta do, I'm sure he's cooking up a plan.
He's got, he's gotta have his, he's gotta have his exit.
And rightfully so, let me say.
He's, he's been-
Yeah
...
the face of the league, if you will, for a while now.
Almost 20 years
So if he really, if he really does want to do the whole tour thing, uh, then he, then it's gotta be the Cavaliers.
I think the Cavs would be the one team where it would be-
We'd show up
...
the goodbye LeBron tour
Yeah
If it's the Warriors, that gets, it's not gonna be the same farewell tour.
If it's the Heat, not the same farewell tour.
I think that either one of those teams would probably give him a better chance at maybe winning a championship.
I don't know, in the West, it's tough.
In the East, it's wide open, but I, those are better teams, I guess, is what I'm saying.
Those would be better teams than the Cavaliers
So they got James Harden, they got Spider.
Who else they got there?
Um, Jared Allen
Struse
Max Struse
Damn, Jared Allen.
That's a name I haven't heard in a while.
When you-
Evan Mobley
Mm.
Mm-hmm
Um, Jalen Tyson.
Um, you're putting me on the spot.
I don't know basketball like that
I mean, that's, that's a pretty good rundown of-
Okay
... of their lineup right there
But James Harden's technically a free agent right now, so he's tech- does it mean he's technically not a Cavalier right now?
Yeah
Yeah.
So
I just want LeBron to make up his mind so that I can figure out what to do with my tickets, personally.
He's inconveniencing me right now
Mm-hmm
Mm-hmm.
I keep forgetting you have tickets on the line here
Oh yeah, big time.
I got, I got skin in the game
Mm-hmm

Um, also I wanna put out the call right now, uh, we have a very special guest coming on next Monday.
Uh, they're coming to the office next Monday.
So we're gonna be recording an episode with them.
I would like to do a, uh, a Tuesday voicemail episode, because the episode we're recording next Monday will come out on Thursday.
So, um, voicemails for next Tuesday's show, meaning start making those calls right now so that we can have a bunch of voicemails ready to go.
It's gonna be, uh, myself, Big T, Aryan, Mad Dog McKenzie, Dante, and Jersey Jerry.
Murderers' Row.
Uh, but we want some voicemails for that Tuesday episode, so that way the episode that we record on Monday, uh, it will be for next Thursday for you.
We're gonna take care of everything that we can do on Monday.
Um, so leave a voicemail.
What's that number?
347-560-0401
There you go.
If you-
If you got more life dilemmas, those are, I love those
Yes
Yeah, the life dilemmas are really good
Love those
Really good stuff
We don't love that you're going through a dilemma
For sure, yeah, yeah.
But-
But we love that you come to us for it
Uh, quick update, the Miami Heat have taken the lead now.
Miami He- Heat are pretty much even money for LeBron.
Followed by the Cavs, the Warriors, then the Sixers, then the Timberwolves, then the Wizards
Would it be too many cooks in the kitchen, though, if he went to the Heat and it was him and Giannis and-
Bam?
Who else is it? Bam
Maybe
Um, I, I have a bone to pick with, uh, some NBA fans.
I saw people upset that Bam Adebayo did not win the ESPY for, like, best performance or whatever.
Yeah
... 10 strikeouts?
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, sorry that your guy hit 40 free throws.
That-
Yeah
... shouldn't have even been in the running, if we're honest
Uh, against the Wizards.
[laughs]
That doesn't, that's like, yeah, hitting three home runs against, uh, like, uh, the ba- the Bad News Bears.
Of course Bam went off.
Shohei had the best baseball game ever played.
Th- they also just mutually decided, like, in the middle of the third quarter that, yeah, we'll just w- you know, you guys come down and score, then let Bam score.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was, it was a terrible, terrible game to watch.
This was in the NLCS, right?
Uh, was it?
I believe it was.
It's the best baseball game that anyone's ever played.
So yeah, that one.
I- if you get upset at the ESPYs, you need to just chill out and take a break.
Hey, yo.
So real quick, we're gonna backtrack.
I was, um, I was thinking about the Washington Wizards and how shitty that, that name is, and how shitty the logo is, and it just doesn't fit in Washington, DC.
So I just been cooking up here with me and my buddy ChatGPT.
Mm-hmm.
And I was like, "Yo, you, you, you, you just acquired the Washington Wizards and you have to rebrand it." And it did [laughs] and I'm not, I'm not a super fan of AI, but that shit kinda hard.
I think you are a big fan.
No, I'm not.
Like, especially when it comes to artwork, I am not.
What do you mean?
You use it more than anyone I know.
I'm on a podcast with you and we just, we talk shit and we do sh- I, I don't actually use the shit like that.
And you're, you, you have a-
What you mean?
... you have a Claude bot that you have do all your, your stuff for you.
N- no, I'm just experimenting with it.
I don't, it doesn't do anything for me.
Okay.
Y- thank you.
Take it back.
Okay, I take it back.
[laughs]
[laughs]
Okay, good.
Thank you.
Now anyway, like I was saying, me and ChatGPT-
Mm-hmm
... cooking up this game.
[laughs]
[laughs] And I said, "You just bought the Washington Wizards.
Research all branding analytics and rebrand the team name and logo." It said, "The first thing I'd like to kill is Wizards.
Not because it's ugly.
It isn't.
It's because it has no cultural ownership.
When you think of Washington, DC, nobody thinks wizards.
They think power, politics, strategy, intelligence agencies, monuments, history, the nation's capital." And it, and it goes down, the rebrand philoso- philosophy, woo, woo, woo.
And it came up with the Washington Sentinels.
Okay.
Yeah.
And I don't, and I don't hate it, so I'm sending the, the, the logo into the chat.
Kinda like that shit, dog.
What you w- w- on, on what's your AI slop or kinda, kinda go?
No, I, I know what you're saying.
Um, the Sentinels, that was one of the names that was recommended for the new Washington football team when they went in with the Commanders.
That was in the-
Oh
...
the, like, top five list.
That logo does look a little bit like a dick and balls.
[laughs]
Other than that, I think it's...
I, I mean, yeah, it's, now it's, it's just a dick and balls.
I mean...
I think you can find dick and balls anywhere.
But yes, that does look like a little bit of dick and balls.
It does.
It, you see what it's trying to do, though, the-
The monument, yeah
... what is that sh- the monument, yeah.
But you know what I like about it? The little, the little capital building on the bottom of it looks like little teeth inside the helmet.
That shit kinda, that shit kinda hard.
I feel you, though.
But it do- watch, the Wizards do need a rebrand.
They do.
You will not, you will not hear an argument from me about that.
Yeah.
That does look...
Now, now I can't unsee it.
That does look penis.
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
Mm.
We'll make it work.
We'll make Wizards work.
It, we're not gonna rebrand.
I, even though I would like it very much, it's not gonna change.
Um, what do we wanna get into on Thursday's show for the people?
You wanna have our...
I haven't had Brace on in a while.
We could do that, but also, uh, have B-Dubs on, and we could talk, uh, a little...
You know what I'm talking about.
No.
Oh.
Were you that lit at the wedding?
His topic.
Oh.
Oh, yeah.
Oh.
[laughs]
Yeah.
I didn't know who B-Dubs was.
I know.
I knew.
I, but I was like, "What? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah."
You want me to ask?
Yeah.
Although he did hit me randomly the other day, asked for the playlist, and [laughs] then he hit me, and he, he re- I, I guess he watched the, uh, the golf video of us and randomly texted me out of nowhere.
He said, at 9:45, "This is randomly, I could beat you in golf."
[laughs]
Oh, I love that.
Good for him.
[laughs] And then I said, I said, "Man, what a dream you must've had." He said, "Could beat you in golf." I said, "Damn, still asleep, I see."
[laughs]
I love that.
That'd be a good match.
Yeah.
Yeah, it would.
I mean, you're, you're gonna be here next week?
Uh, yeah, I don't know how long I can stay, though.
But if it, if w- we, if y'all wanna do, if he wanna do a golf match, one v. one.
Is he good? I have never seen him play.
He's gotten better.
He's, he's pretty good.
He, uh, is now a member at a, a club, and I think plays a lot.
See if he, yeah, see if he wanna, let's, let's set up a little one v. one.
That'd be a fun video to do.
He's good.
I'll see if I can make it happen.
I'll text Brandon right now and see if he wants to do it.
It's, it's a good e- it's a good episode idea.
I'm, I'm all ears.
Feeling lucky? You should be.

timeOkay, I love it.
Uh, all right, anything else we wanna get into today?
Uh, Avengers Doom Day.
Doomsday.
The trailer just dropped.
Are you a Marvel fan? I know Big T, you are not, you not, right?
No, but also you gotta tell me this.
I-- there was a whole thing made for like three or four years.
I would assume Endgame was the end.
It clearly was not.
There was-- Or Infinity War, I think, was the first one that was supposed to be the end, right?
Mm-hmm.
Then there was Endgame.
They're like, "Okay, this is it." Now there's, there's still more.
I thought they were all dead.
No, just Tony Stark.
But then he's coming back as someone else.
Murk?
Like Robert Downey Juni- Robert Downey Jr. is playing someone else in Doomsday who is green, I believe.
Hold on.
Is it Green Lantern?
No, hold on.
Yeah, listen, it, it's not for me.
If you love those movies, that's awesome.
I, I, I hope it's great.
I do.
I wanna see the good guys fight the bad guys, Big T. I wanna see it.
That's fair enough.
I gotta see it.
Dr. Doom.
You gotta have it.
Dr. Doom.
Whatever that means.
Hmm.
But that's who RDJ is.
No, I think Dr., yeah, Dr. Doom.
Yeah.
Interesting.
And in this one they, they bringing back a lot of, um, or they, they bringing in a lot of the X-Men.
So Gambit gonna be in that joint.
I think Sassy, Cyclops.
Uh, that's a lot of people, a lot of the youngins don't know that in the actual comics, like they, they, that was way more merged than it was.
'Cause X-Men w- is like kind of its own thing.
I think studios bought different rights to it.
So, uh, X-Men was its own thing, and Avengers, and all those superheroes were another thing.
But it was all merged.
Like Black Panther was married to Storm from the X-Men in the original comics.
A lot of people don't know that.
But the universe is merged.
Should be dope.
I'm excited for it.
Yeah, I never really got into that.
I, I saw, um, Iron Man way back in the day.
I saw Black Panther on an airplane.
And I think that's all I've done in that universe.
Yeah.
Where should I start? I've, I've-
Um, have you seen all the Iron Mans?
No.
I think I just saw one.
Maybe I just saw-
All of them are pretty-
Yeah, I just saw one.
All of them are pretty dope.
I would, I would watch all that.
There's actually a, a, I think there's a website you can go to that tells you how to watch them all in order, if you're interested.
Okay.
Yeah, so I, I don't know.
I can get the website.
But there is a way to watch them all in order to where it leads up to the endgame, and then whatever's next.
I mean, I probably, I probably won't.
That's so much stuff to, to jump into right now.
It's a lot, dog.
I got enough going on.
It's a lot.
It's almost football season.
It's almost football season.
I gotta lock in.
I gotta lock in right now.
Shout out to the World Cup for occupying my brain for about a month.
Very, very useful.
But see ya.
Yeah, I'm gonna miss it.
But see ya.
Um, all right.
Well, if we don't have anything else to get into, we will be back on Thursday, new episode.
We'll see if B-Walk wants to join.
And then get excited.
Stay excited for next week.
Probably the biggest guest in, uh, macro dosing history.
Uh, is that true? We've had some good guests.
Yeah.
Who would be bigger than this person, though?
I'd have to really go back and think.
But off the top of my head-
George Santos was a pretty big-
Is, is Stone Cold bigger?
Yeah, Stone Cold is bigger, but he also does a lot of media.
That's-
And, yeah
...
this guy's doing media.
Okay, we'll see you guys.
Love you guys.
