The fact that he defended and he intercepted the ball and that he tracked back and helped Cucurella, I'm sorry, man.

And my expectations are higher for, for him.

I, I, I think he's playing really well.

Cucurella fits like a glove.

Okay, this guy has come in.

From the first minute, he is so good.

We finally have this kind of gritty left back that we need, a, a real proper defender.

His sense of anticipation is incredible.

You'll notice that Cucurella will win balls against much taller players because his sense of timing is fantastic.

So this is a very smart, uh, and gritty defender, uh, you know, w- a massive addition to the squad.

I mean, there's a lot of new players like this back line, obviously it's like Dean Housen got it there last year.

Cucurella is new, Konate is new, Dumfries is new.

Like, you know, Bellingham and Valverde are sort of the, the sort of senior figures in there, but they're playing alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is a, a fullback for the majority of his career, right? I know as a youth player, he is a midfielder.

I know in possession, he pivots in and he can get on the ball.
