The Wire

This is one that's not organized crime, but everybody'll agree it's a brilliant series.

Absolutely brilliant, and it's called The Wire.

Not Italian, uh, but probably the most truthful, uh, crime show ever.

I really mean it.

It was just brilliantly done.

You know, it, it dealt a lot with the drug trade, I think you know that, but th- then it dealt a lot with other sociological issues, uh, and it dealt with it so well.

The Wire is brilliantly done.

Uh, I think there's five seasons.

so yeah, so that, you know, those are sort of two of the guns.

But I think The Wire also like with Stringer Bell, like, you know, what he was trying to do and how complex he was, but also Avon, who we didn't really look at as being so complex, but he was, he was complex.

But at the same time, he was simple.

There was a street code, and he respected the street code.

I've only seen like half the first season.

there are needle drops after needle drops in this movie oh and some 70s jams law that is gonna have your little detroit heart singing like motown shit yeah um i don't know necessarily montown but it's definitely that era of like old school r&b and shit uh so yeah alan rich alan ritson ben foster shailene woodley plays the uh the femme fatale here uh pablo schreiber Whoa.

Nikki Sabaka from The Wire shows up as a heavy.

He's really good in it.

going to say the last time Randall Baltimore attracted so much attention was The Wire, the TV series.
