This week on Limited Resources Marshall and Luis dive into the heroic (and not so much villanous) world of Marvel Superheroes! There are a lot of big tournaments on the horizon in this format and it's…
And then we also do it for our Q&A episodes that we do once per set, and then if we have a guest on or if we have a topic that we wanna reach out to our audience for, we'll do that, too.
Um, Luis, do you wanna talk, uh, broad strokes before we do the Crack a Packs?
So I mean, the, the story, the story of the format, this is what it's gonna be remembered for.
And heroes specifically, so green-white is also kind of picking up some of that.
But mostly it's that, like, the white heroes are just really good and, like, the cards surrounding them.
I would say, like, you know, we, we dug into the, to the numbers a little bit.
But if you then look at the play rates, you said it was something like almost three times as much as the next deck, right?
Yeah, so right now, for example, the, at the time of recording, uh, blue-white is winning at 60%, and the next is green-white, which is 57 and a half.
And then it gradually goes down through all of them to 53.1%, with one outlier, which is black-red, is at 51.3, which is way below.
Remember, 17 lands filters for people who have installed 17 lands on their computer, and that means that those are people that take the game more seriously than people that don't.
So the average win rate usually ends up being between 54 and a half and 55%.
So if you're at 51, you're, you're three and a half, 4% below the average.
But everything else is pretty well bunched up, except for Azorius is out in the lead.
