Now, we'll get to those later on.

But today, I just want to look at these four judges.

And today, in Judges 21, kind of sets the tone of that whole era.

In Judges 21, 25, in those days, there was no king in Israel.

Everyone did what was right.

in his own eyes.

Does that sound familiar? The world we live in today.

Well, I almost call this unwanted faith because of the four individuals mentioned, none of them wanted the assignment.

None of them wanted the job.

But I called it unlikely faith.

Because even though they were reluctant, even though they were doubtful, even though they struggled with accepting the assignment, I want you to know God still used them in a powerful way.

And so I want you to think about unlikely faith.

The first one is Gideon.

Now we're gonna have to go quickly.

I could preach one message on every individual and judge mentioned here, but I wanted, I thought it would be tragic for us to get to Hebrews 11 and you read those names and not know something about them.

And so I wanna give you an overview of all four.

Are you buckled up? Are you ready? All right, here we go.

The first one is Gideon, and I see in Gideon doubtful faith.

Now, the Israelites had been attacked by the Midianites.

Gideon is in hiding.

He's threshing wheat in a wine press.

That's like down in a hole.

He's hiding.

He's like in the basement, okay? And I want you to, it is in that context.

He's just trying to get a little food that we read verse 12, Judges 6, 12.
