If anything on the live show, the, the thing I think y'all underplayed was, I mean, K-K-- W-We've heard Keely talk nonstop for two years about breaking the world record, and her camp, and she's gonna do this, and do that, and to her credit, she did break the world record indoors.

And-- But, but I, I think that what we didn't emphasize enough was Werro just went front-- went f-from the front.

H-How, how can we ever expect Keely to break the world record outdoors if she can't even beat Werro? Well, I think the reason why they were optimistic this year indoors is because she didn't have any setbacks.

Usually, there's some sort of hamstring injury or something that causes her to miss a race or miss World Indoors.

This was the first time she was able to run World Indoors, and she won it, and she ran one fifty-four eighty-seven in February, indoors.

So you run that fast indoors, I'm thinking you can probably go faster outdoors, and she has gone faster outdoors.

So in a world where Audrey Werro didn't exist, I would've been thinking, okay, this is, you know, June seventh when Hodgkinson runs one fifty-four thirty-three, her PB in Stockholm.

If Audrey Werro wasn't in that race, I would be saying, okay, the world record's still w-ways away outdoors, still more than a second away, but she's making progress.

Like, maybe she can take off another half a second by the end of the year, and then, you know, we can make a real run at it in '27 or '28.

Instead, what happened is she went to British Champs and withdrew on the starting line of the four hundred final.

This was certainly her best race since Stockholm, running one fifty-five oh-one, but things didn't go that smoothly.

So if you had to pick, okay, whi-which one of these women could break the world record, I'm going to pick Werro.

But I don't think it was totally outlandish to suggest, you know, two months ago, that Keely might, might have that possibility.
