And if you fill the great majority of those calories in your budget with highly nutritious food, then you're really cooking with grease.

Um, on that 10 calories per pound of body weight, is that, like, the basal metabolic rate? So is that, like, that's what you're gonna burn just sitting on a couch doing nothing, and then you would add any, like, exercise or lifting or running or things like that to that or, or what?

So it's as, on average, and most humans are not just sitting on the couch doing nothing.

... moving around, cleaning your house, the basics, right? If you're just sitting there, you're probably burning way less, right? But if you're doing normal day stuff, that's the average.

Now, obviously, if you strength train, you burn more calories than a person who is less muscular, right? And women, I'm talking to you, too.

If you would like to lose weight, strength training is one of the most effective things you could do.

Right behind using the exact formula, managing your intake, strength training is the next.

So, you know, if we're talking to marathoners, and I know we are talking to people who love really, who, who love to run really far, you, certainly, you're burning more calories, but you're not burning that much more calories 'cause the great majorita- m- great majority of us aren't running a marathon every day or a half-marathon every day.

Maybe a few miles and more per day, but, you know, a few h- three miles for me is 300 calories.

That's a chicken sandwich, right? So it's not you're going to eat an extraordinary amount to compensate.

And if you are running further and you're trying to lose, you don't have to reconsume all of those calories.

You should have whatever fuel you need to get you through that workout safe- safely and successfully.
