Spaceship Earth

For now, it will probably at some point return to Soarin' Around the World.

And then Spaceship Earth and Turtle Talk with Crush.

Some of those flat out do not need a Lightning Lane, but maybe you get it so that you can try to get another group one earlier.

Kinda that strategy I mentioned before.

Otherwise, I really love it.

And then, eh, literally anything else is fine.

Maybe Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land? I don't know.

My must-do rides for Epcot is Soarin', Living with the Land, because you got to do that one.

Spaceship Earth.

Spaceship Earth, if you can do it like multiple times, do it.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Journey into Imagination with Figment, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Okay.

This is entirely just world celebration, world discovery, and world nature.

I'm not even going into world showcase at this part of the day.

So Test Track, Soarin', Living with the Land, Imagination, Spaceship Earth, Lunch, depends on my mood.

... unfortunately you have no control over it, and Test Track has been the beast of us.

And so Reagan, this challenge, I'll talk about it kind of in a couple weeks in my pre-trip episode, that is going to be the one that we wanna knock out ASAP are Spaceship Earth, because that has gotten us, and Test Track has gotten us.

Yeah.

Test Track's ruined two of my runs already.

We did 52, yeah.

Yeah.

And, like, the... on that run, like the only reason we didn't do 53 is 'cause Spaceship Earth was closed.

So even if that hadn't happened, we still wouldn't have gotten on [laughs] Spaceship Earth.

exciting.

Okay, Spaceship Earth.

They are going to be getting a little bit of a reimagining as well, which again, definitely needed.

Spaceship Earth will receive its first major update in nearly 20 years.

The story will expand beyond human communication and focus more on human connection, which I love that.

And new scenes will bring the story into the internet age and beyond.

Got an Epcot one for you.

Get rid of half the safari or Spaceship Earth becomes a WALL-E ride with a theme of losing connection and not, uh, building connection.

Oh.

I mean, if that was done well, it could be okay.

Yeah.

Can you think of anything that's worse than getting rid of half the safari off the top of your head?

I mean, the one thing that I would say, like, if they flat out demolish Spaceship Earth.

Like, the ball was gone.

[laughs]

But I get in Epcot, and I was like, "Yeah, do you guys know where the lockers are?" The lockers are directly to the right of Spaceship Earth, like where the bathrooms are.

Mm-hmm.

There's like a little, like a little room for lockers.

It's funny, you posted a video and, like, the clip of you getting to Epcot and filming World Showca-

... or not World Showcase, but, uh, Spaceship Earth.

It's like you can hear [imitates suitcase rolling]

I guess that's where it gets really interesting, too, is I didn't come to Walt Disney World until I was an adult.

So, yes, I knew and loved some of these rides from being at Disneyland growing up, but there are a lot, like Spaceship Earth, for example, that the first time I went on it and I was like, "WTF is going on right now? What is the cult following for this ride? I don't understand it."
