because as far as week one games are concerned, this was about as must win as I think you can get.
Yeah, I mean, you know, I. It's funny, you know, we know that the Titans are going to be bad, and I think it's okay to say that, but I also think it's okay to be happy about this one.
I think there's a tendency when, especially with the Jets, when they have a good moment like this, you've got people on the other side of things being like, it's just week one, everybody relax.
The Jets don't get these kind of moments very often lately, so winning in week one and really like... killing a team that is supposed to be bad like that they haven't done that in a few years frankly so it it was a it was a really fun game and on both sides of the ball this offense looks like it might actually be fun and it was cool being there there was a lot of Jets fans at the stadium there was a lot on Broadway and it was uh it was cool seeing the environment

Isn't there a story you want to say or something like that? I shouldn't tease you up too, because I feel like I'm going to be made fun of, but this is the time to put it in there before we get into the nitty gritty of it.
So I ran into a handful of people that love our pod, and they made sure to tell me.
But I was at a bar with my wife on Broadway, um these two guys walk in one of them has a Jets hat on I think and he like clocks me he's like Zach I was like yeah he's like oh I love the podcast we we just listened to it on on the on the drive-in they drove all the way from Jersey to Tennessee like oh wow is his friend over like he calls his friend over it's guys wearing like Ranger stuff he's like dude this is Zach he's like what I don't know we were listening to the podcast on the way here he's like Zach like what podcast he has the podcast with Connor Connor Rogers no it's really good he works the athletic connor hughes and he's like the guy listened to the podcast over the course of completely forgot about it the one the one guy didn't even know that what he was listening to the other guy was hyped to see us but anyway it was just my wife is just cracking up because he's like no zach rosenblatt and connor hughes they have a jets podcast we listen to it together he's like oh yeah yeah yeah That's 1-1.

All right, dude, let's talk about this one a little bit because it's such a unique situation where I think with the Jets and their building, they have a tendency that when things go wrong and things go negative and things take a turn for the south, as much as they want to say the outside noise doesn't matter, we're just focusing on ourselves, the outside noise gets in.

And the biggest problem with this game was that if they were to lose to Robert Siler and Jermaine Johnson and JFM and Brian Dable and all the old guys that were over there, I just think it could have had this snowball effect going into next week against the Packers.

And not only for them to go out there and win this game, but win it in the fashion that they did.

And yes, I understand that the Titans aren't a particularly good football team this year.

But the Jets have played teams that weren't particularly good or teams that were worse than them.

And what I think we learned about the Jets this week, and you don't want to make too much out of week one or too little out of week one, but what you learned is that it's a low bar.
