Connor Hughes

One of you saw this coming as NecroZak commented on our Brees Hall trade video, quote, why would they trade him when he just signed an extension? And that's a good question, NecroZak.

And according to SNY's Connor Hughes, the Jets are asking it too.

And a quick thing before we get on, we are at 8,136 subscribers at the time of me recording this video, and the goal is 9,000 before the year ends.

If you want Jets coverage every day throughout the deadline and the rest of the season, make sure to subscribe to the channel.

Now, here's the actual huge trade report part.

As SNY's Connor Hughes reports that the Jets at the time, at this time specifically, have not had any serious internal discussions about moving Hall.

Not any at all.

They see him and Braylon Allen as one of the best running back duos in the NFL, and it's hard to argue with that.

What's three and seven? What does three and seven do for you? You are in prime position to entice one of the best coaches in the NFL, whoever's available next year.

As Connor Hughes told us earlier, I completely agree with him.

You are probably talking about the premier job in the NFL next year.

And I know that sounds crazy and it sounds ridiculous.

And for out of nowhere, Herbert, these guys are available.

I guess it's a different conversation, which I don't really, even things worth entertaining right Jake until like just we can't predict that stuff right like the Chargers you know who knows it could just be a down year for them McDaniel's terrible and you know Harbaugh gets fired and someone else will want to take a shot on Herbert but just from a peer like what the Jets need they need somebody that's schematically in my opinion and Connor's done a really good job of talking about this even dating back a year ago of like Even if you want to go defensive, I understand that.

You want to go the Flores route, and I know a lot of people are rightfully so very high on Ryan Flores.

You need someone who's going to give you a schematic advantage week in, week out.

Yeah, no, it's,

it's true.

That's probably, I think Connor Hughes tweeted this earlier today.

And I actually agree with this.

Nagy.

Connor Hughes brought up Matt Nagy last week.

I almost threw up.

We cannot hire Matt Nagy.

Like, it's embarrassing how badly he's done.

Let me go to SNY's Connor Hughes, who I imagine just took part in the Aaron Glenn press conference, which is why I wanted to have Connor on real quick.

How you been, buddy? What's up, Connor? I'm

doing well, Craigie.

Thanks for having me on.

There you go.

Connor Hughes, SNY, by the way.

For what it's worth, I and others, this is Zach talking, did listen a bunch of times, and it sounds like being, but wanted to pass along that clarification.

Connor Hughes also basically tweeted out the same thing, that they went over it, they listened to it slowly, they believe it's being, but the Jets are saying beating.

Now, you be the judge.

Flegelman, hit that again.
