the idea of the Eagles having a collection of Kenny Moore, Jonathan Jones, and Michael Carter is like-

... oh my gosh, they've got all the Nichols in the NFL.

This year, They have other options at nickel.

And, you know, it's Michael Carter.

They now have Kenny Moore.

They have guys that have played nickel, played nickel well, and could probably do it again.

The Eagles like to play their slots at safety.

They did it with Michael Carter last year.

You see it with, uh, Cooper DeJean.

Safety's a bit of a concern for the Eagles right now, if I'm being honest, and Kenny Moore is a, an experienced player.

So it's not good to see him dealing with the injury bug again.

And then behind that, you kind of have a Swiss Army knife in Michael Carter II, who presumably would be taking those reps at safety unless they move Koop to safety and keep Michael Carter at nickel, which historically has been his position in the NFL.

So it's going to be interesting to see Al Vic manages that from a rep standpoint, if Makuba can't go and even if he can, can he survive the whole game?

Right?

So we'll have to see.

Cause if, if you don't have the gene, Then you got to use Michael Carter II probably as your backup slot and get him in there, which means you can't use him as an extra safety if he's already playing in the slot.

Then you got Epps and Makuba at safety, and Epps had gotten banged up a little bit in that first game.

It just tests your depth.

Couldn't get him down.

Uh, 10 for A.J. Epenesa, and then six each for Michael Carter II and Byron Young.

Byron Young had how many?

Six snaps.

Yeah.

Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro, Jomo, you have Ty Robinson finally waking up.

You know, you, you have decent edges.

You have, you know, Nolan Smith, who I think is going to take a jump this year.

Let's just say it.

No. so yeah, you're, you're hoping and, and, and praying that they hold up because there's, there's not a lot behind them either.

You know, Michael Carter is your, you know, your, your backup there.

So yeah, you, you hope that maybe how he has a trick up his sleeve somewhere.

We know Makuba and Epps are the starters.

Michael Carter's going to go in there and base defense.

It'll be Koop, but the Eagles are probably going to be in base 5% of the time, most likely.

So you want, Koop's going to be the nickel and he's going to be putting his helmet in and trying to tackle the running back, get after Daniels, get after Diggs and Williams or whoever he's going to be covering.
