Israel Will Not Yield

However, as is our long-term habit, big dog and the news.

Okay, got it.

But the news is going to be really short today because I just have two items, really.

And the first is that President Trump said negotiations with Iran are continuing and he expressed hope that the Strait of Hormuz could fully reopen today, Tuesday.

He described the talks as Iran's final opportunity to reach an agreement.

In the meantime, Tehran denied any negotiations with Washington and said discussions remain limited to talks with Oman over the Hormuz management.

So either there is a deal or there isn't, Gadi, and either this is the final chance for Tehran or not.

I think this is about the ninth time that that Trump has given Tehran one last chance.

Anyway, that's my, I'm editorializing.

Let me get back to the news.

The second item, Gadi, is that Trump announced last Thursday a, quote, major milestone toward implementing the Gaza peace plan.

However, the implementation stalled almost immediately.

Israeli officials say that Israeli troops will not withdraw from the current positions until Hamas fully and verifiably disarms.

But Hamas says it will only begin handing over weapons after Israel halts operations and withdraws in line with the agreement.

So once again, we either have a major agreement between Hamas and Israel or we don't.

Hamas is also demanding a cessation to assassinations, to hits by Israel.

And Israel, in response, has had a field day with hits.

I think it was Sunday, two days ago, to make a point.

And we will go back to this topic, perhaps the most important in the news.

which we will return to after I disclose the fact that I had a long conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about these and other subjects, about the war.
