i have seen some of the most brilliant men and women on this planet get stuck in a certain paradigm i have seen some of the least educated be the most flexible this has nothing to do with knowledge instead It has a lot to do with flexibility, with recognition.

For me personally, it's like I can't even begin to tell you the amount of times that that I have gotten myself in a situation, and I swear, as much as I rail against right, wrong, good, or bad, I swear to you I'm right, and I am adamant about it, and I will fight for it, and I will bleed for it, and I'm a fool for it.

I will take a step back, either because circumstances force that or because I am wise enough to take a moment, to take a breath, to take a second, to take some distance energetically, mentally, physically, spiritually, whatever it happens to be.
and I don't always do that incredibly well.

And if I am wise enough that second or happen to catch lightning in a bottle and I can recognize myself mid-pattern, then I'm giving myself an incredible gift.

I'm giving myself the gift of choice because now I could choose differently in real time, not in hindsight because hindsight, you know, it's groovy, isn't it? Hey, look back there.
