This time around, we're talking to Audra Wolfman, a burlesque performer who was featured in Jeff Nucera and Jonathan Royne's Tight and Nerdy, a documentary looking at tight and nerdy, a burlesque troupe devoted to doing... routines and a show all set to music of Weird Al Yankovic.

We talk about how Audra got into burlesque in the first place, what she thought about being in a documentary, and her thoughts on sitting down with her friends and cohorts and watching the documentary for the first time and what they thought of it, how they think they came off.

and what going through that experience was like.

She's eight years older than me, and it's actually her birthday too today.

And Beatles, there were a lot of Beatles happening in the house because of my sister playing records constantly.

But Weird Al was the first musician that I felt was mine.

He appealed to me and not so much to my family, which kind of made it even better that it was just for me.

So I very quickly while I as soon as I got onto the line, I heard the Barenaked Lady song.

And just quickly, I wanted to mention that Weird Al does a cover of that song that is far superior to the original.

But Andy Hart, I wanted to bring up and if this was a bit, I want to tell you well played because I fell for it hook, line and sinker.

I've kind of been derailed through this whole conversation, though, because the caller first mentioned a Weird Al version of the Bare Naked Ladies song one week.

And I think that's where he got his name is playing in the dorms.

And then he did his recording in the bathroom at the university there and sent those recordings off to Dr. Demento.
