The Lovers

And part of the deconstruction of this Venus retrograde is to align with, okay, I know I'm supposed to want this.

This is supposed to feel good, but does it really? And where do I want to be? Where do I want to be spending, again, my precious, sweet, brief time here on Earth? Okay, so we're going to talk about card six today, the lovers.

Very romantic, very sexy, very exciting card in the tarot.

If you don't know the tarot, you still get curious and excited when the lovers comes up because who doesn't love love? Who doesn't love romance? Who doesn't love physical connection? All of these good, wonderful things.

But let's break it down, as I would love for us to begin to do, with the numerology first.

So we're talking about six.

Honestly, okay, so I did ask how this year's Harvest Horror would pan out, and I pulled The Lovers, and that seems pretty true so far.

In this deck, I like it because it's a person looking at their own shadow and coming together with that shadow.

I think this card in this place is calling into what we've already talked about a few different times in this particular reading, which is going within.

So it is going within to your body, to your own wisdom, to identify the parts of you that you cut off, that you thought were bad, that are still squishing out because that does happen.

That's part of what shadow work is to recognize how am I still the way that I thought I wasn't supposed to be? And in what ways can I allow for this to be real and also for me to accept that part of myself and to recognize that this is part of me and i can heal it and also being aware of it is such a big part of that work so the lovers here it's choose yourself it's self-acceptance it's some shadow work for sure but it's also a lot about I think coming home to and creating safety and home in yourself as much as you can do that and to really prioritize your home being your body.

I was talking to a client last week, and they were talking about loneliness.

So I think it's really interesting that this card came up for this.

And then basically goes from the Fool, Magician, the High Priestess, the Empress, the Emperor.

We're going to go with the Hierophant, the Lovers, the Chariot, the Strength card, the Hermit.

There's a reason why I'm doing this, so hang in there.
