If you think of all the things that it does to try and neuter our ability, not only to make the world a better place, but to not even care if it gets worse.
How weird is it that if you think of the outro to that song that just repeats itself over and over and over again, well, what is it saying? It's saying, heal the world we live in, save it for our children over and over and over again.
Well, what happens when people are no longer having children? When they no longer care about children, look around.
What do we hear about all the time? The birth rates.
Nobody's having kids because they can't afford them.
Perhaps because there's things being put into our food, into our soil, into our air, into the water, right? That are making the frogs gay, according to Alex Jones, right? And while that sounds crazy, it's kind of reasonable.
Nobody's having kids.
Nobody, at least that, let's say, genuinely cares for them.
There's very few individuals, right? Because once upon a time, people said, I want to find somebody significant.
I want to love that person and build a family.
I want to put ourselves in a position where we can afford to have a little nuclear family, however small and humble that opportunity might be.
Right.
And then we'll bring a child into that into that world that you can care for.
But nobody can afford that anymore.
So what does that mean? That people don't necessarily think of what it's going to be like for their children because they're not going to have them.
Right.
So why would anybody in that world, if you can't have a kid, why would you even care? Right.
Why would you worry about healing the world or making it a better place for the people that come after you? Because after all, all you care about is the hedonism in the moment and the now the me ism.
Right.
It's the complete antithesis of what is built into that song.
No, for you and for me.
It's really wild because if you go through the lyrics of that song, there are people dying.
But if you care enough for the living, make it a better place.
