Oof, this is, okay, I think I've, this might be getting a little carried away.

I know people are picturing a lot of things between the partnership of what could occur between Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett.

So I recently wrote that I don't think Myles Garrett will break the sack record.

And I wrote about that because the easy thinking is like, hey, if Myles Garrett could get 23 sacks with a bad Browns team that trailed most of the time, what can you do with this team? And then I kind of said, that won't happen.

I will say that Aaron Donald gets another 20 sacks this season, not break the record.

But I can't remember the last time somebody had back-to-back seasons of 20 sacks, and I don't think that's ever happened in the sack era because, remember, sacks weren't really counted.

into the early 80s or 83 i lost track there's been a few players since sacks were counted that got multiple 20 sack seasons like uh jj watt but they didn't do it back to back so uh i say miles garrett again i don't want to get in uh information misinformation i don't know if a player's ever done it in that sack era back-to-back scenes of 20 sacks but if it hasn't happened I'm going to book that Myles Garrett will do it.

I'm sure it's happened back in the day before sacks were kept track of, and I know people have gone back to keep track of sacks in the 40s and the 50s and the 60s.

I'm not saying that, but in the sack era that actually counted, I think Myles Garrett would be the first one to go back-to-back if my information is correct.

And then on defense, I'm going to say that Byron Young leads the team in sacks.
