Hot Talk with The Ox 10-16-26

Probably the big topic, and it's really trivial.

But I didn't see Hannity last night.

Did you see this on Hannity, Terrible Todd? I saw a clip of it, yeah.

Yeah, I saw that it was on, and I think I saw Sean talking about it.

I also was watching Hannity a little bit last night, him talking about the school shooting in Oregon, which also, if there's any news out of this, out of Bend, Oregon, we'll bring it to you.

I don't know why this 16-year-old killed a bunch of kids, and thank God there was somebody there.

exercising their constitutional rights of personal protection to save even more deaths.

As far as I know, at least an hour ago, last time I checked, we didn't have a motivation for what this kid's problem was.

Hey, bud, what's your problem? I don't know.

So if that comes out here, three kids, one adult killed, others wounded, could have been just even worse.

So anything on that that comes up.

But as weird as this is, what's this Katie Zachariah? The debut, when was that? Was that Tuesday? Tuesday, yep.

Yeah, poorly, poorly ill-conceived is what my friend and colleague John Fredericks called it.

Ill-conceived press conference by the new much, much anticipated press secretary.

Well, since that happened, she seems very likable.

She doesn't seem like a dipstick.

she just is not in her element.

She's not, this was not, she is not trained for this.

Whatever was happening here was not in her wheelhouse.

She might learn, but as several of you texted in on the Boulder Taphouse text line, the spokesperson for the most powerful person in the world is not like a training ground.

Like you would think all other spokespeople for everything else would be training for this position.

And clearly, whatever happens next, if she ever does another press conference, clearly she was not prepared, not capable of delivering a real press conference.

And was that just good? We got that out of the way, and now she's going to be a tiger moving forward.
