Holocron Radio Episode 12 — Who Are the Mortis Gods? | Legends & Canon

So, without further ado, we are going to jump right into... um episode 12 welcome back to holocron radio let's do it so we're going to start off with our star wars news of the week recently at d23 ahsoka season 2 got a release date and the release date for it is going to be january 20th of 2027 so top of the year is we're going to see ahsoka season 2 um rosary rosary oh my gosh Rosie Dawson, Hayden Christensen, and Iman Asfande was with Dave Filioni at D23 promoting it.

We're going to get to see the New Republic fight Thrawn.

And it's also going to tease a little bit about the Mourners of Gods again because we got that teaser at the end of Season 1.

So we're back with that again.

Honestly, I'm excited for it.

I'm excited for... uh, Soka season two.

I am excited.

Um, I hope it's a little bit more fast paced than season one was.

Um, we are getting that aspect of it.

I can't really put my, I want to say this though.

I do want to say that I, I'm excited to see Thrawn on, you know, on the major screen here, but I wish, I still wish, and a lot of Star Wars fans agree with me on this.

I wish we could have got the Thrawn trilogy, uh, um as our sequel movies but you know bygones be gone and i don't know like a lot of people are suspecting like maybe dave filion is doing a reset uh with this and it kind of i don't know like i i don't know like i said i feel good about this and i can't wait to see it I just need to know, like, where are we going with the future of Star Wars type of thing? Because we had that recent hot take back on episode 11 about Dave Filioni being associated, like, being obsessed with Anakin Skywalker, the Clone Wars era, all that stuff like that.

So here we are.

Again, I'm excited to see what's going to happen.

So hopefully this is the way for us type of thing, the way forward.

Speaking of the future, they also did a Starfighter.

We got some new Starfighter info.

So they released their logo or whatever.

It looks like the Republic, the new Republic symbol, but upside down with crossbones.

So like a pirate type of thing.

Ryan Gosling's character.

This is the one that got me today when I did the news.

His character's name is Cade Aberon.

That is a ripoff.

I am sorry to say.
