We are back celebrating our 50 galactic heroines in honor of the 50th anniversary of Star Wars.

And today we are talking about a character who... was apparently in the background the whole time, but takes center stage in the Clone Wars.

I gotta tell you, the first time I found out about Satine's existence, because I didn't watch The Clone Wars when it was first running... was shortly before I watched The Clone Wars, where I learned that Obi-Wan Kenobi had a love interest in The Clone Wars, and her name was Duchess Satine.

And for those who are millennial girls like us, who didn't grow up on Moulin Rouge, starring Ewan McGregor, his love interest's name in that movie is Satine.

I don't know if you know this, but ironically, some of the biggest cult followings for Jedi is Kit Fisto and Plu Koon.

Kit Fisto had like zero love in the original Clone Wars.

I forgot his name.

yes um but like a lot more people started to appreciate the newer clone wars series because kit fisto got like a whole arc and like everybody's like oh this is so awesome um I really enjoyed this story.

I thought this was really, really fun.

And it's just turn-based, and you, like... work together in in combos and abilities and stuff from each one and each person has their own class and abilities and you level them up as the game goes on doing missions they get injured and if they die they die like you lose them so you put a lot of time and effort into one guy and then they just die and you're like shit um but uh it's so far it's really fun you work for the republic Kind of.
