But like I said, there's a couple of other things I want to talk about before we dive into me yapping.

Earlier this week, Sony made an announcement that they are officially stopping production of physical discs starting in 2028.

Now I say this as someone who My video game collection is mostly digital, right? I'm certainly, I guess, quote unquote, part of the problem here.

And then when the physical version goes on sale, I'll pick it up on Black Friday.

yeah man like i like you know i we grew up in the physical media era right uh i also feel like you and i have been good about adopting the digital media era um yeah man

And, you know, interestingly enough, with the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, the eighth generation of consoles, I feel like that's really when the tide started to turn.

It was during that console generation where you started to see stories about, oh, digital sales have finally eclipsed physical sales for video games, right? Right.

I love being lazy and being like, oh, I don't have to go drive to GameStop and have an awkward interaction where they're like, hey, you want to buy the warranty for this disc? And I have to be like, no, bro, I take care of my shit.

Or do you want a subscription to Game Informer before we cancel it? No, thanks, bro.
