You know, today I was out in the garden, and I'm thinking about what I'm going to talk about on the show.

And I'm weeding, and I think every time I get on the show, I'm talking about weeding clover endlessly.

But I thought, you know, a lot of times people will say, what would you tell a beginning gardener? What kind of information? And I think about all the things I tell them about be careful of this or that and that if you're up here, it's really dry and hot and the ground isn't very good and you have to improve it and you can do that or you can do whatever.

And I always forget to tell them to avoid cute weeds that come up in their garden.

And I think, and I'm not even a beginning gardener, and I haven't learned that something that's very cute in the garden that's a weed is that I'm going to keep because I like it.

And if any of you have ever taken it out of your garden, you know you pop it out of the garden, and then these little bulbs, they just go off of the trowel, and they just fling everywhere around your garden.

it has this time of year in the fall, I really try to make sure I get them out now because it has a very elongated bulb-like root, but has a point on it that gets very large right now.
