How would you describe your philosophy about life and lifespan extension? Why is there something that more people should care about? And I am obviously someone that cares about it, but there's a lot of people that see it as sort of this billionaire side quest, right?

Maybe like it's super fun and it can be extremely rewarding if you do it right.

Obviously, there are a lot of experiences that people are having in their lives that aren't so great.

Often when I talk to people about how I want to extend lifespan, they're like, why? It gets to be such a horrible place for people.

Why would you want to drag that out? So I have to be super clear that what I'm trying to do is extend the sort of healthy portion of lifespan.

I guess healthy there is code word for meaning that, you know, you're actually having a good time.

And I agree with the philosophical argument that Aging and lifespan extension are probably among the most important problems that anyone could work on.


But you know, there's a difference between that form of longevity and lifespan extension scientific research, which is what retro biosciences is doing.
