I just got back to my town home where I live, and we were just on like a 10-day run, so just got back today.
Awesome.
Well, welcome home.
Great.
Let's start at the beginning.
Where did you grow up, and what was your relationship to music early on?

And I hated lessons for like ever when I was little, like a lot of people, you know.

And then, um, I think the, the biggest turning point was like in middle school I actually stopped lessons and then I started kinda like teaching myself, which is probably where like the interest really started to peak.

And then, um, I went to a music magnet program in high school, which was awesome, 'cause then I basically like took college courses for music like in high school.

And then I went to school for music, graduated with my degree in jazz piano, but like was always into like metal and like going to like live concerts and stuff, and was really just kind of using school as like a place to like learn and like really shed and like really...

I was always lucky to have the best private teachers, so like my classical piano teachers and then my jazz piano teacher, he was so cool, so hip, so patient.

Um, so I just feel like I, I loved being in the bubble of school, but I was always ready to like go out and perform live.
