We've got four games and speaking of Thursday night football, because one of these teams is on them.

The Buffalo Bills went down to Houston, come away with a 36-31 win.

Incredible back and forth game.

I think it was seven lead changes, but it might have been more by the end.

And yeah, maybe not the type of game we were expecting in this one, given kind of Texans, the Texans strong defense.

But yeah, Joe Brady, head coach of the Bills with kind of no restrictions.

And yeah, the Bills managed to go down and score nearly 40 points.

Yeah, I suppose starting there, what did you make first of all of the game?

Yeah, really fun one to watch.

And yeah, you're kind of right.

You know, we talked, you know, we expect the big matchup to be the Houston defense versus the Bills offense.

But I mean, to be fair, the Texans offense came to play, but also in the final important moments, the Bills defense stepped up as well.

So I think both teams can see on what we anticipate being like their weaker side, being stuff to be encouraged by.

But I think for Texans, as someone who's back to Texans to win the Super Bowl, A reasonable amount to be concerned by on defense, which we all think, I'll speak for myself maybe, is the best defense in the league is what I think, certainly.

And certainly, I think for most people, top five defense in the league.

And I don't want to say the Bills did what they want, but Josh Allen had his highest air yards per attempt since 2023, over 12 yards per attempt.

They were able to stand in the pocket.

His average time to throw in week one was 3.11 seconds, which was nearly a quarter of a second longer than he had in all of 2025 on average.

And he's doing that against this Texans pass rush.

So big credit to this Bills all life for standing up to it.

But a little early, like, oh, is this Texans defense quite what we think it is? There were some plays downfield that I thought were a little...

uncharacteristic of the Texans.

Lastly, I had the DPI on DJ Mill, which I thought was a little soft, but those penalties often are soft.

You know, you kind of If you go down, you're probably going to get it if you lean backwards into the defender.

Then Lasseter nearly had an INT, which I think probably would have changed the outcome of the game because him missing it directly led to Bill's touchdown.
