[laughs] So David, we're here at Entre Acts, obviously in between acts, and I wanted to create a space where we talk about what happens in the in between-

... because so many times as artists, um, we're, if we're not working, we're asked, "Well, what are you doing now?"

And when you ask a doctor, a teacher, or anything like that, in the summer you're like, "What are you doing?" "Oh, nothing.

Enjoying my va- you know, enjoying my summer." But as an actor, if you're not working, there's so much that comes with that.

And so I wanted to ask you, what does the in between mean to you? When life yells intermission and forgets to tell you what's ne- what's next?

I think like in the moments where I allow myself to sort of sit in, sit in my own discomfort of like not knowing what's next, that's always where like something will find me, whether it's like I run into someone that I haven't seen and I'm like, "Oh, wait a minute," and a collaboration starts.

Or like someone mentions a play or something and I'm like, "Wait, what's that?" And then I'll like read it, and it's like all of a sudden you like...

I don't know, I really believe that in those moments, like the universe is trying to speak to you.

And like those are the moments where like if you just breathe through the discomfort, 'cause it is uncomfortable-

... to like not know what's next, like things will come your way, you know?

I, I love that, and I am a firm believer of that too because specifically speaking for myself, the moments where I've finally surrendered and just like, I, I'm also a firm b- believer of what's meant to be will be.
