Daryl Roth Theatre

And I didn't know [laughs] which it would be for Midnight, but all I knew was everything that I was seeing looked so incredible.

This is Todrick Hall's new musical at the Daryl Roth Theatre, and when I tell you that obsession is growing, and growing, and growing, and then I finally saw it, and I just was filled with anticip-p- p- p-ation for Midnight, and it all paid off in a major way.

It is still in its preview, so I'm not going to actually review it, because we're not reviewing shows that are in previews, right? We're not doing that.

But all I want to say is this story is so original, unlike anything you could even conjure up in your head.

Anyways, Broadway besties, this is gonna be a hit.

This is not the end of the line for Midnight.

It is going to have many, many lives past the Daryl Roth Theatre, I trust and believe.

This is only the beginning.

And it was-

It's at the Daryl Roth Theatre off Broadway.

It, it's just, like, otherworldly, is the only way I can explain it.

I think it will just, like, change the scope of theater.

And I was like, wow, you know what? I have to say no, because I just had a daughter and I am not going to fucking do my wife and my kid like that.

After doing De La Guardia and I'm like in a hit show and it's great at the Darryl Roth Theater.

All I was making was the same amount that maybe you'd make waiting tables or less.

And so then I was going to make barely enough money to send home, but be on tour and not be there with my wife and my newborn.

You've closed the show many times.

From a rinky-dink little Rockwell in LA to the basement of Gristiti's to off-Broadway at the illustrious Daryl Roth Theater, which only floods a couple times a year.

Absolutely.

You know well.

Well, we'll go right to Midnight.

It's an original Off-Broadway musical coming to the Daryl Roth Theatre with the first preview September 12th, opening night September 27th.

It's billed as...

At its heart, Midnight asks one unforgettable question.
