And so the education system that was being fostered at Mater Dei was, was to be reflective of, of the ethos of Vatican II, um, in, in so many different ways.
And so, again, it was Institute of Education across the board, so in many cases, people learning to be post-primary teachers in religion and English or religion and history or religion and music.
But then there were also programs as well, you know, PhD, and it had expanded in, in, in many o- uh, other ways.
But what we call incorporation, which was also a result of the Celtic Tiger's crash, because many smaller institutes-
So Mater Dei had always had a link with Dublin City University, which, uh, never had any kind of theology or religious studies, uh, faculty or staff.
So there was a bit of learning curves when overnight, uh, DCU pr- pretty much absorbed what had been Mater Dei, what had been St. Pat- you know, St. Patrick's and Drumcondra and the, um, uh, sort of Anglican, Anglican, uh, Church of Ireland School of Education.
