So we talked a little bit about A-Chain last week about what do we do with him? First of all, just like as a Dynasty asset, do we sell him? Do we hold him? Do we sell him and buy him back? Like there was all sorts of discussions around that.
And then, you know, we were talking a little bit about maybe there's going to be a dip in performance due to the team, you know, being... pretty underwhelming around him and then i came across this post uh from jeff bell i'm sure many know him on on the socials do we think the doll do people think the dolphins offense was good last year and it kind of made me think just kind of about our conversation and how we were building the narrative and like is the team that much worse than it was last year to where we should expect any kind of different performance for a chain
Are you saying that because the Dolphins' offense wasn't particularly good last year and he still performed at a relatively high level, that the potential plateau and or slight growth in offense would change maybe his outlook this season? That maybe it's better than we're perceiving it to be? Is that the idea?
understood okay yeah I think he got paid right this offseason he has no incentive to play well that's gonna be my like I do think that this team is unfortunately in what I believe is going to be like a a one-year kind of intentional tank where they just, no players intentionally tank.
I think organizations might try and build teams that don't perform at the highest levels.
But yeah, I just don't, I don't foresee the way in which HN has been able to dominate in the past, which is usually through the air more than it is on the ground.
And he's able to compete at both levels at a pretty, I mean, at both parts of play at a very, very high level.
But I think that removing some of his receiving upside, I think negatively impacts him as a fantasy asset, or at least that's how I personally see him.
Well, my point being with Tua is that despite his flaws, especially at this stage of his career, he is pretty good in terms of dumping the ball off in short area.
