There's been so much conversation surrounding not just him, but also James Tibbs III on which of the two would likely to be called up, and now with Josue de Paula called up, there's a big fallout from this and that means someone has to come on the IL something has to happen moves have to be made to make sure that this is possible and you see this here by Jack Harris when Alden Gonzalez is on it appears someone is going to be going on the injured list and it Really seems at this point, no other option other than Shohei Otani.

And he really has been the biggest fallout from this as to why Jose de Paula has been called up.

That's the bottom line, and that is why we saw this move being made for Jose de Paula, because they need some hitting.

But if you're losing Otani, your best hitter, you need someone to be able to take his place, and Jose de Paula is that name.

in the outfield that is something that has also been on the table for a very very long time at this point once again leading to this point where why is Jose de Paula only being called up now this probably should have been a month into his MLB tenure his MLB debut but being able to play in all three outfield positions left right and center gives him a major opportunity with Andy Pa has still being out Kyle Tucker and Teoscar Hernandez being up and down on their performances Something had to give, and this has been the case.

But with all of that being said, you're still looking at the entire group of outfielders here.

There's been very little offense from them, except for Eddie Paz, I guess we can say, for a big chunk of the season.

And I mean, now that it is confirmed, now that the move has actually officially been announced, has been made, and of course they still have to make a move to make it be able to be possible, this is a positive sign for the Dodgers that they're now acknowledging what they've been doing is just wasting time.

And I think that's a big thing as well that has really made all this happen with Shoya Otani specifically going on the I.L. And the reason why you're calling up your best prospect available right now in Josue DiPaola without even seeing him in AAA, because once again, James Tibbs was there, there was an option with another very good bat, but an outfielder, someone who's still very young, that is going to learn in the MLB level, and hopefully be a name that we see, you know, regular in the postseason the time was now because of Otani and I feel like you know it's not necessarily on him at all it's more so on Dave Roberts and the team I would say for not placing Otani on the aisle earlier because once again you see this when he was out of the lineup today in tonight's game because he hasn't totally recovered from a swing on Monday where he didn't feel great the Dodgers will determine the next steps and that came from Dave Roberts himself via underdog MLB Shohei Otani has been hurt for a long time.
