So we're looking ahead at match week one and basically the teams that we're picking for the first week, why we're picking those players.

And I guess some of the tactics ahead, because this is obviously the first week we've got unlimited sort of transfers as such to make.

But i thought we'd start off just with some of the like the considerations that we think about when we're making our teams so i'll kick us off because i know for me i've looked at the first leg five weeks until we get another sort of unlimited transfers week there's no sort of gaps there's no double match weeks for wsl2 which come up so i'm almost certainly not going to use a wild card i'm almost certainly not going to use a free hit i'm just going to sort of manage my team over these first five weeks um when i'm making my first team of the season i always like to try and prioritize players that are going to play so i'm looking at like the lineups um from some of the friendlies and players that are playing in you know they might have missed one friendly but are playing in pretty much every single one especially starting and i want to prioritize certain teams as well especially those with an easy start um luncey lionesses i've put in there as well because They're the first game of the season, or the first game, sorry, in the first two match weeks.

So with the new substitution rule, that means if I've got these players and they don't do very well for me, I can sub them off my players on my bench.

They've got a good couple of games to start with Durham and Ipswich, but For the first few weeks of WSL 2, there's no sort of big team that doesn't play another big team.

I'll probably get to a point at some point where I've got more WSL 2 players than the WSL.

So players like Jessie Gale and Katie Cox, who I had in some of my drafts early on, they've been selected for England.

I'm definitely going to be using this substitution rule a lot, but that's sort of what I've considered so far.

Tom, how about you? What are the sort of general tactics that you're looking at as you make your first team?
