Bristol City W.F.C.

Should I start on the broader Ashton Gate piece and talk to you on the football side? So we've done a couple of things differently already, beginning to a couple of things.

So the first is that as of about two months ago, I now oversee both the stadium and the football club, which I think is partly about making sure that Ashton Gate does feel like our home and ultimately our fortress without making it unwelcome to the other people who play there, specifically the Bears and Bristol City women.

And the second thing is we have been trying really hard to make the experience at Ashton Gate better and better.

So shout out to someone in the room.

I'm trying to think, if Mercury 13 are the longer term stakeholders, what's stopping them from changing the name, even moving out of Bristol, among other things? Thank you, Shahar.

So you're right.

So I've recently joined the board of Bristol City Women.

I'm there to represent Steve and Maggie's share in the club.

And from there, we started having connections with the club.

The Bristol City women have been absolutely brilliant in welcoming fan engagement.

So it's really sort of grown from a few people making a lot of noise in the stands to actually how can we have conversations with the club about what can promote really good fan experiences and what can build a really lively and enjoyable fan base for the club.

I mean, my, my aim is that like for the nesting, we can create a space where people can come.

And a club in Spain, I'm going to really struggle with the pronunciation, but I should notice that I'm feeling very shamed right now, but yeah, so there's like, so it's that kind of multi-club ownership approach.

And so it's been interesting really to be fans of a club where that's happening because there is this kind of idea that the women's game is very different and we're going to form a club that really reflects what the women's game is.

So it's been, so we are going through a period of transition where there is like a new infrastructure that's taking place in the club from Bristol City women.

But what's been really lovely for us as fans is that there's been a real commitment to work with fans and bring fans in to be part of like match day experiences.
