Through that osmosis and that learning, you'll get a little bit better at identifying your own players and then you know what you're probably going to see things a little bit differently from me which is good right we don't want everyone to think the same i'm what's called a contrarian fantasy player when everyone's going one way i go the complete opposite way because if everyone goes one way it's a luck league everyone you're just kind of like whoever has the least injuries wins if everyone does the same thing and draft similar sort of players and similar sorts around kind of...

But if you are new, you might have been able to tell from that first section that I do love statistics.

I think not only is it just really interesting to me as someone that does love data, even outside of Fantasy Premier League, but also it gives a more objective thing for you to latch onto in terms of rather than just me saying, "I think this player looks good," and having nothing to back it, I can actually say there are some stats to back what I'm saying.

And I would say four game weeks is probably getting towards the minimum sample where it's actually starting to get a little bit interesting.

'Cause w- over one or two weeks, anything can happen.

Do you agree generally with my thesis, and where do you wanna start with good things on this win?

I will say for any listeners who play Fantasy Premier League, I don't know if it's the same with the MLS Fantasy League, uh, you do get an assist and assist points for drawing a penalty.

So it, more, more for that.

Um, the, the ga- the game itself was, was synonymous with how this team has won games and how this team plays.

It's definitely something I could see, you know, we maintain that structure, maybe the line-up as we progress through the season, because I thought we just looked so much better balanced to the unit.

It's a bit reminiscent of me in sort of the first four or five weeks of Fantasy Premier League, just taking out some of the big stars out of the attack and getting some actual point-scoring defenders in, and the whole team looks a lot better as a result, but... yeah i was um i was pleased because i think you know we keep going back to it had we had we lost air being turned over the pressure would have ramped up again but yet we're sat here talking about how we can we can actually build on this as a positive and yet i think i spent 80 percent of last week just absolutely dreading the weekend

Nice to go into next weekend not feeling quite apprehensive, but maybe a bit more on that later.

Before we talk about a couple of those performances, the last thing I was going to say is that I felt like I'd seen that Fulham performance before quite a few times.
