Anthony PyneCORRESPONDENT

And we've just watched the players, um, doing a little bit of training there.
Anthony PyneCORRESPONDENT
43:12
Saoirse Noonan is back in with the group.
Anthony PyneCORRESPONDENT
43:14
Um, whether she's in the squad tomorrow night, I'm not sure about that.
Anthony PyneCORRESPONDENT
43:18
Uh, she, she'd been omitted from the squad initially with an ankle injury, but she's, she's taking part in a little bit of the training there.

look at Marissa Shiva in that mix as well maybe you know adding a bit of that kind of energy going forward too but I think Gabby Larkin definitely states her claim to be a regular starter going forward but yeah it'd be great to see the three of them in the team as well because like I said they're work right off the ball but then they're able to stick it in the net as well when you need to

Who would you like to see start next Tuesday, Maeve? You know, today we were without Kate McCabe, Denise O'Sullivan, Marisa Shiva, Saoirse Noonan injured, Jess Zhu injured.
Rachel SheehanHOST
12:38
Would you stick to the 11 that started and performed so well today in Kazakhstan?
Meabh de BurcaGUEST

see Carla Ward dropping Denise or Katie I know it's hard because like you said I mean I don't think anyone on the pitch did anything really wrong or definitely didn't play themselves out of the team and a lot of them really played themselves in or at least gave a headache to Carla Ward it's hard to know I think you would see it as a game where yeah you could start a completely different XI and we'd still get the job done no doubt about that but then I suppose you have to look forward to that game against either Belgium or Poland the two games coming up as well and I'd expect that Carla Ward will start whatever she thinks is the best start in XI on paper in Porky Creeb even though the game you know the tie is done and dusted but I'd expect maybe that because this will be their last opportunity to play together, really, and maybe at halftime ring the changes in.

Yeah, just starting aggressive and being patient is something that they'll need to do.
Colm BoohigHOST
9:35
As well as no McCabe, O'Sullivan and Sheevan, there's no Saoirse Noonan.
Colm BoohigHOST
9:38
I think we got the news yesterday morning, there's no Jess Sue.
Colm BoohigHOST
9:41
So how do you envision Carla Ward lining out the side here, based on what you said about the favourites tag and without the players mentioned?
JamesHOST
4:30
I believe she also has over 50 caps as well for Ireland.
JamesHOST
4:33
But Saoirse Noonan is also unavailable due to an ankle injury.
JamesHOST
4:38
Roosha Littlejohn drops out, probably doing podcasts elsewhere.
JamesHOST
4:41
And Tara Hanlon is out with a hamstring injury.
Karen DugganGUEST
5:26
I think we've been full of praise for the girls who are on the pitch.
Karen DugganGUEST
5:30
I see Saoirse Noonan is not available, so she's had an impact down in court before.
Karen DugganGUEST
5:35
I don't know.
Karen DugganGUEST
5:38
It's a very settled team, but it's not a team full of big impact makers.
JohnHOST
5:15
That, that, uh, you know, from, from a, a domestic point of view, they have to get on the plane to England and kind of prove themselves over there before they're, they're really going to get the shot.
JohnHOST
5:25
Um, yeah, I suppose, look, the other, only other thing from the squad maybe is Saoirse Noonan.
JohnHOST
5:30
I, I thought, you know, hard done by really.
JohnHOST
5:32
She's been doing really well.
