related i think we've we've we did the daredevil novelization but for the patreon but for the main show the what i was just like reading reading a lot more pages than the uh the script so yeah peter david the late peter david passed away a year ago and we've all given praise to his batman forever novelization but he also worked on a bunch of others the spider-man one which i know that you've checked out uh and uh I'll have to check that one out at some point.

So this is kind of one of the major, major comic book writers getting to work on the novelization, just like Denny O'Neill when Denny O'Neill got to do the Batman novelizations over time.
2003

somewhat yeah I was so I was in high school this was the first this is my first exposure to Hulk really because I'm you know we're too young to have really been there obviously during the time of the you know the Bixby Ferrigno stuff outside of like seeing some reruns and I hadn't seen them you know I hadn't seen the Bixby and Ferrigno stuff from before.

And I think it took some getting used to because I remember just the overall vibe of the response was people being just like, Oh, why is it so talky? And how come he's not like Hulk very often? And what's up with this? But I remember just kind of even as something.

But I remember even just as a kid, just being like, huh, there's something interesting about this.

I think maybe just because I could relate so much to the banner thing of, of like, holding on to, repressing the anger, that type of thing, which is why so many of us relate to this character.

And the fact that they went so character-driven with it was, even for a young me, where you kind of signed up for something a little bit more action-y.
