Mike Mignola

I wanted to be a comic book artist, writer.

I wanted to be like Frank Miller, Mike Mignola.

As I got older, I realized I wasn't, I wasn't good enough as an artist.

I didn't have a, I didn't really have a plan.

uh style creative and there's there's others you know uh gosh i can't i can't remember their names exactly there's a few women who do amazing black and white work that's soulful and meaningful and symbolic um but uh yeah dude like you've got this like polyglot style and you you know you mentioned lichtenstein you know where else are you so lillian yeah who else

Lillian, currently I'm focused on Mike Mignola, who did the Hellboy comics.

I'm unfamiliar.

I don't believe he's

Can you make a Stender that folds up onto a wall, but we can also use as a canvas? So got my engineering creativity going and did that.

So now I have a full freestanding Stender that you can fold up, put it on a wall as well as paint on it.

Then I started doing more art that I want to see and now doing the Mike Mignola type style art with the gold leaf and paper.

So that's where I'm at.

he's the guy who's best known for taking over the reins from Mike Mignola for Hellboy.

So he's the incumbent artist for Hellboy.

So if you're into the comic scene, you know, Judge Dredd as well, he's done so much work within the comics industry over the last, like, 30-odd years that, again, you don't normally, like, see him ever talk about, like, the Star Wars side of things because it's not what he's really, like, known for.

But a lot of people might not know Steve Purcell, but he did some comics called Sam and Max, which were very, very fun, that went on to be a bunch of video games for LucasArts, and he ended up being a director at Pixar for a while.
