Comic book convention

Why haven't you had me on it yet, huh? Where's my invitation? I think you guys need to feel the wrath.

I'm at Comic-Con today, but I think we need to get some, you know, some wrath.

Some wrath in the show.

Yes, according to reports, at this RNC convention, Trump will take part in a roundtable for the organization on Wednesday where donors can pay $250,000 per person to join him and an additional $88,600 for a photo opportunity with the president.

Now, is it just me, or is this midterm convention giving off some strong Comic-Con vibes? The only difference being, one of these conventions is a collection of tens of thousands of die-hard, unwell superfans who've completely lost touch with the reality, while the other is Comic-Con.

But let's hear more about why this very necessary event is taking place.

The president seems

turned into a whole fight.

Because if I'm going to get something for you, if I'm at Comic-Con next weekend, two weekends, and you want something from Comic-Con, Apple pay me the money.

I'm going to use that Apple cash that you sent me to pay for it.

I'm not fronting the money.

So, and I know that's something Jun said that that's going to, for the proper main wave, every little issue you'll have is going to be tweaked and corrected.

But that's what you have to, that's what happens when you, you know, you get, you try to get stuff out there for like Comic-Con.

And the thing that I got this week was the soft goods upgrade for Boa Hancock.

Did they put her up for preorder? Or are we talking about that we've seen her at Comic-Con, but she actually has not gone up for pre-order? I

think she's gone up for pre-order, but they did reveal her at...

I, I'm telling my, I told my friends that I, I actually felt more tired after Rebel Scum Con than I did after the whole week of San Diego Comic-Con, with all that walking, all the not going to sleep till 3:00 in the morning but getting up at 8:00, you know, all that stuff.

Yeah, yeah.

I, I felt more tired coming back from RSC than I did from San Diego.

I had one, I bought one at, um, it was around the time Snake Eater came out.

Um, but at Comic-Con there was a Uniqlo, like, um, like they had a booth there, or at least they had the merchandise with them at the Konami booth at Comic-Con.

Um, but yeah, I bought a shirt, um, loved it, wore it for years.

And then like, I started growing out of it.

You should have them.

OK, OK. They're somewhere on my desk.

I had July is busy for me because I go to Comic-Con and then I come back and it gets busy at work around this time of season for me as well, too.

But I have a nice section to where that is stored.

The movie industry, Hollywood actually clued into...

Hollywood was crazy because when they came to Comic-Con, comics are cheap in terms of their ideas.

So people would come and just... like, like trawl, trawl, you know, and just buy, buy, buy, buy, buy all these ideas.

They had no idea what they even bought, but it was just so cheap.

Mm-hmm.

And Tony, how did you miss that Tricia Helfer was the iconic Sarah Kerrigan from StarCraft II? I met her at Comic-Con in London-

Oh, really?

... a few years ago, and got her to sign a Queen of Blades print I had.

Yeah.

They announced it at Comic-Con, which I was there for the AMC Hall H panel for the Vampire Lestat.

And they showed us a teaser just basically to say that like season four will be adapting Queen of the Damned with Sheila Etienne as Akasha, which she's the best part of season three.

She's only in it for like five minutes, but she's she was acting the house down.
