Brandon T. Snider and Sarah Leuver Interview | “Supergirl’s Family Vacation”

So, Morgan, before we go to snap judgments, is there anything else that you wanted to ask? I think what do you think is one fun

thing that they did when they finally got to Argo?

I mean, they ate.

I realize, as I look at my own work, I realize that there are certain things that recur, and one of them is, like, snacks.

People eating, like, food references.

Like, there's always, like, a character that's starving.

So I feel like when they got to Argo, they definitely ate a lot of garbage.

But fun.

Amazing.

Right.

A lot of Kryptonian garbage food.

I feel like Cara has like the inside track on all the good snacks.

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

I think

maybe, I think maybe that was one thing.

There was like one sequence in the beginning when Cara is appealing to Clark about going or no, right before when she's doing her pitch about Argo, I did have a couple more references.

I did have to cut some things for space, but we got like a Regas juice was in there.

There's a couple of things that I did the research and I'm like, these were actual, you know, uh, cosmic delicacies in the DCU and on Krypton.

So.

That's cool.

Yeah.

Uh, definitely.

I think they would try the local cuisine.
