Already there's been a catastrophic impact on Krypton's past, and you've got to wonder if Zor-El is injured, is that going to prevent him from finishing the construction of a rocket that will ultimately save Kara, rocketing her off Krypton? Or I guess Argo City actually broke off first, I suppose, depending on which...

If you go by that origin.

In any event, you've got to wonder if Kara's origin herself might be impaired because of what happens to her father here.

So let's be perfectly, let's be perfectly clear on that front.

I, I would've started on Argo City.

Um, I think she is really good as Kara Zor-El.

I think by going a slightly different way, doing a different tone, not doing the, the Slater thing, I think this is actually a really strong way to show this character.

And I do like that it's a complete different way to look at Krypton, Argo City.

And I think based on what we're gonna get with Man of Tomorrow and the potential future out in space of, of the DC's films, I, I do think it's important to have one that's different.

I aimed the rocket for Earth, where my space telescope previously showed that the son of my brother Jor-El lives as Superman.

Superman saw my rocket landing, and after I told him my story, he told me, Then you're my cousin, since our fathers were brothers.

Like we see in more modern films like Man of Steel to a lesser extent like Superman 2.

But even in Superman 2, the shenanigans between Superman.

superman and zod just don't go as big and bad as two demigods should do but be that as it may i do have to wonder if is this the first time that supergirl has heard of superman's bottle city this is of course the first time we've seen it in a supergirl related story but has superman told her about it before like off panel because the only city she knew of with her people when she was growing up as a child, was Argo City, and it was split off from Krypton.

Now, she may have heard talk of Kandor growing up with her people in Argo City, because I imagine they did talk about the history of Krypton, but maybe she hasn't.

Welcome to Argo City, last surviving city of Krypton, constructed by Earth-obsessed architect Xantar and powered by the Omega Hedron, and which escaped the planet's destruction by leaving our universe and entering inner space.

Everything I just said makes perfect sense, don't question it.

As Xantar tells young Kara about wanting to leave Argo to follow her cousin Kal-El to Earth, a journey which everyone knows all the details about somehow, they accidentally breach Argo and lose the Omega Hedron.

What is the Omega Hedron? It's the power source for Argo City.

Okay, so it's not an arcane relic.

It looks like, um, '95 is when Krypton was destroyed and Kal-El was sent to Earth and adopted by the Kents.

Argo City breaks away from Krypton's fall.

And then '96 is when Hal announces himself to the world.

So yeah, I mean, Superman just got there whenever Hal announced himself.

Yeah.

Because we do get to see Argo.

We do get to see Argo again.

Yeah.

And

honestly, I love how they did Argo.
