Krypton

I didn't see it coming.

And then took off in the time machine, where Supergirl and young, young Clark went with her, and then went to Krypton.

And now we've got a time traveling step on the dinosaurs story of Krypton with a big moral conundrum that's going on, and you see Supergirl...

Basically, Ursa is trying to stop Krypton from blowing up- So that she can rule it with-

Right.

I, I think there's a lot going on.

Young Clark, who is just barely Superboy at this point, you know, meeting Supergirl, l- finding out about those other people, finding out about his past.

Zod is another crucial villain to Superman.

But you also see Zod is a villain Superman inherited because of his Krypton, his dad, depending on whatever adaptations you follow, right? Doomsday is now the creature that killed Superman.

But

then again, that's from his...

Home planet, Krypton.

You see what I mean? But his main archnemesis is Lex Luthor.

Which is Lex Luthor.

But why do they hate you so much that they want to destroy Earth? That puzzled me too, Supergirl, until eavesdropping on their thoughts supplied the answer.

Years ago, as some of their migrating ships passed our home planet Krypton, the Krypton army shot down several of the vessels.

The survivors made a solemn pledge.

The dogs! Someday we will send a space battleship to wipe out every living Kryptonian! By super-powerful telescope, they observed the destruction of Krypton from natural causes, and...

There is a survivor! An infant! He sails toward Earth! Someday we will seek out and destroy the Kryptonian barrette! I see.

They've come to make good that vow.

But why don't you fight them in space and save Earth? I don't want to harm them.

Flashing through space, Superman and Supergirl enter through the ship's space lock.

I enjoyed that.

But the Krypton stuff was really impressive because they had to, they created a Kryptonian language and then they spoke it in whole dialogue.

So Millie Alcock and David...

Crumbles.

Yes.

um who played uh Zor-El they had to like have the whole scene in Kryptonian which I think is pretty very cool um but that you you said that Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow like touched you yeah the Kryptonian scenes on Krypton were like the things that made me feel something in the movie because uh Kara talks about, like, I don't want you to send me away because I want to die with you.

You know, that kind of stuff.

So that was the stuff that I thought was, like, really emotionally heavy and very good.

Supergirl has traveled back in time to Krypton before it exploded with Ursa and young Clark Kent, Superboy-

... who has been taken forward in time, and now backwards in time to Krypton.

Uh, and they have to not do the butterfly effect thing, while things of course predictably go very wrong.

Mm.

I thought these two parts were very fun.

Uh, the time travel freshened it up a little bit.
