There-- When people talk about a deep state, they're typically referring to a network within the government that tries to kind of manipulate or even control policy behind the scenes and use government for its own ends.
We know the heart is desperately wicked, and we know that people often collaborate together for nefarious objectives.
Nobody's surprised to find out that, you know, a city councilman was working with his brother-in-law to steer government contracts to his paving company, right? That doesn't surprise anybody.
And yet we're supposed to believe that at the national level or even at the international level, nothing like that would ever happen, and of course, that's self-evidently preposterous.
And if you read the scriptures, I think it's very, very clear that we have, uh, first of all, a, a spiritual hierarchy of evil, as the Apostle Paul describes in Ephesians chapter 6, but also, uh, human beings, uh, who the Bible says have been taken captive by Satan to do his will, uh, who are up to no good.
Uh, in fact, you read about this very clearly, for example, in Psalm 2, where 3,000 years ago, David talked about the kings of the earth and the rulers seeking counsel together-
And so what I try to do in my most recent book, Deep State 2.0, is just break down, you know, first of all, yes, the superficial deep state, the bureaucracies, the intelligence community, and so on, and then the kind of networks behind it, like, uh, some of them are, I guess, semi-secret.
They publish their membership list, so they're not really secret, although a lot of what they stand for is not well known.
Uh, groups like the Bilderberg, uh, you know, a few years ago, they actually launched a website, and they even put out press releases now.
Uh, so these are not secret groups, Trilateral Commission, although they're very, very influential, and I think they certainly meet the criteria of a genuine deep state.
But behind all of this, we have what I call in, in the book, uh, the deep state behind the deep state-
the, the actual secret organizations that overlap and intertwine with these semi-secret and official agencies and people, and I think that really is, is essential to understanding how the world really works.
So we're going to be talking about the historical Illuminati, the Skull and Bones, and the Bohemian Grove, and I'd like to begin with the l- Illuminati.
