Rowan HallGuestDan CaseyHostDo you remember what the first game or tabletop role playing game was that really sunk its, like, hooks into you and made you think about gaming in a different way?

My first game outside of, like, a Monopoly or, like, a Mouse Trap or something, I jumped into the deep end.

Um, because I had some friends who invited me over to play, and they were like, "We're gonna play Star Wars," and I was like, "I'm so down.

I couldn't be more down." They were like, "It's a little complicated." I was like, "I don't care."

Uh, so, 'cause they, it comes with those cool ships, um, that you can buy and collect and stuff.

So that's what I first jumped into, and, you know, doing that kind of skirmish war game, uh, was so different [laughs] than anything else I had ever played.

Um, and then I was like, "But what if we tell stories?" And they were like, "We can do that, too."
